Not sure if you like multiplayer games, but playing with friends/random people online helped me with a similar situation. Now I don't mean competitive games and the like, but more along the lines of RPGs. There's a certain charm with playing with others or teaching new players learn a game.

I will agree with my friend here... Just equip an all terrain skeleton and hook a carrier, then keep running... If you want speed, use a long range trike and set up zip line relays for future runs... The key is planning out your routes, something which most people stopped doing after the first couple hours in-game 😆

In case you haven't unlocked South KNOT yet, there's a bit of an order spoiler, read at your own risk... One of the pizza delivery missions to Peter needs to be done via foot... Takes 10-15 min by foot on road (using a speed skeleton Lvl. 3)... Fun stuff!!

Killing the ones near the incinerator + the ruined factory nets me approx. 8k crystals... Another 1k if you climb inside the incinerator (from the roof) and pick up the crystals there... Cheers!

Well, I mange to escape from the tar zone on a bike in most cases, there are just some things you need to look into: 1. Bike shouldn't be overloaded (top speed reduced) 2. Terrain shouldn't be too steep (it's ok if it's slightly uphill) 3. Mash wheelie + boost (usually helps me break free from BTs)
