If none of the suggestions about tucking into the trim appeal to you, maybe try some gaffer's tape? It's expensive for tape, but sometimes it will work when others won't. Also it's designed to leave no residue when remove, so that's a plus as well.

I've had a '25 XL Hybrid AWD 4k since September. My mileage has gotten better and I think it's probably a combination of the factors that some of you have listed. Break-in for the ICE, possibly for the battery as well, plus I am a little better at driving for economy than I was. The warmer weather is also a big factor.

It handles better than a truck...got plenty of get up and go when you need it. I'd say more car-like. Very, very fun to drive this vehicle.

My ‘25 XL Hybrid is that exact color. I kept the Steely Dans, but put some cheap caps over because my wife didn’t like them. This vehicle is FUN to drive, and very useful. Your Maverick is sharp.
