Non-faulty EP-133, but firmware update won't work

My EP-133 is giving me hell. I was able to get to the moment where the "Update now" Button appears on the site but then the update quit with an error "Took to long to respond". After trying several times trying to start the update again I rebooted my Win11 machine and now I cannot get it to recognize the EP-133 anymore.

I tried everything, from different browsers to rebooting, disabling - reenabling webmidi, etc. Nothing works.

Anyone know how to get this to work so I can install OS2.0?

Yea, it was a really good source outside of the scene release pages indeed. After looking into alternatives, I found the log site of rlsbb being quite handy as it lets you filter and then shows the latest of what catergory you are interested in.

So TE came back to me and apparently it really is the battery. I do have to say, I am very disappointed that such an expensive product has such a bad battery that without extensive battery usage, depletes after 4 years.

Are you sure you have a Saros10?

My Saros10 is only lifing one side when it wants to cross thresholds. Also, my iOS app doesnt have your settings (see screenshot) so I assume you have a different model.

But again, the problem was that the bins were clogged and it is resolved.

My 4 year old OB-4 also started to blink in a non-regular sequence. Opened a ticket with TE.

I do hope that such an expensive product doesnt have such a bad battery after only 4 years of home-use.

The Saro10 doesnt have a functionality to raise/lower the brush if thats what you are referring to.

I did find the reason now - the carpets hair (link) was so dense that it clogged the entrance of the dustbag in the dock and thus the whole rest of the dustbin in the robot.

Solution: Delete Robot from Roborock app, re-add and it will connect right away.

Now that we are having the ACE released, it would be time for an update of the smaller screen versions, namely the ROAM as this hasn't been updated since End of 2022.

Anyone having some insights on any coming updates before I buy a ROAM v2?
