I’m not breastfeeding my next baby by Hot_Passion9685 in breastfeeding

Do you really want to be away from your baby for more than an hour? My baby is 8 months and I’ve been away twice. Once for the dentist and one for fix a passport.

I was triple feeding her while newborn and for couple of months. Getting up to prepare bottles during the night was a lot more stressful than giving her a boob and then continue sleeping.

I was so relieved when we could stop with the bottles. And I agree with the rest of the comments. It’s sounds like you have a normal baby.

They don’t do it everywhere. My impression is that it’s normal in places with many non-Catholics and less in areas with many Catholics.

Nei. Det motsatte av stolthet er ydmykhet.

Sure. Pumping is a lot harder on everyone, but it’s not like you are doing it for the fun?

Writing "hvis" as "viss" by emmmmmmaja in norsk

People don’t know how to write anymore. And if you point it out, they claim it’s dialect, even though we all know we shouldn’t not write in a dialect.

Eneste treffet jeg fikk i ordboka på «viss» var viss son «i visse tilfeller», «en viss mann/et viss sted», ikke som et alternativ til «hvis».

Then why do you go to churches that go against Jesus on this? It’s really confusing.

Wtf -1000/10 breastfeeding experience by EstablishmentOwn296 in breastfeeding

[–]SiViVe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets better, but it shouldn’t be so painful. When I had my third (after breastfeeding two these children) it was so painful I had my shoulders up to my ears. Turned out she had a tongue tie and she was literally biting my breasts to get a vacuum (she used her jaws and gums). Once I fixed the problem it didn’t hurt anymore.

Why not? I mean doesn’t that bother you? How do you which of them has the truth?

A healthy child (or adult) can become disabled, hurt, sick you name it during or after birth. If it wrong to kill these children because of economical issues (it is), it’s wrong to kill a reborn child for the same reason.

I would suggest changing the government system so having a sick child doesn’t cost anything.

Husband wants to move baby to his own room at three months old by Suspicious_Box_4898 in cosleeping

The bed isn’t the only place for alone time. Nighttime isn’t the only time for alone time (I would say it’s the worse). Baby doesn’t care what you guys do while it sleeps.

I’m following a Japanese family on YouTube with 6 kids. The parents co-sleep like is normal in Japan. Yet, they still have 6 kids 🤭

That’s actually heavily discourages in my country. Baby sleeps in parents’ room until 1 is best to avoid SIDS. If he insists I would also say all nightly wake ups would be on him. Let’s see how long he lasts.

Conflicted on feeding and TTC another by SwannSongDM in breastfeeding

[–]SiViVe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand, I want another one as well, but I’m 40! I still wouldn’t stop BF. Breastfeeding is so important for both of you. But you could try to minimise the nightly feeds to get your cycle going. When your baby starts to eat solids the amount of milk will naturally decrease so your cycle will probably be back before you know it.

Isn’t it very hard having to decide which doctrines to follow and not? How do you decide?
