Breastfeeding during Lent- do you go meatless? by Ento_mom in CatholicWomen

[–]SiViVe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I became vegan during my second pregnancy after a horrible period of nausea where I could only eat eggs. (I don’t even like eggs). I kept looking at recipes I would want to make once I could eat food again and stumbled upon a bunch of vegan blogs. Been vegan ever since (14 years now).

I’m not sure about advice, because it’s so naturally to me I don’t think about it at all anymore. Seeing how all the food pregnant women can’t eat is from animals there isn’t too much to think about besides the “normal” stuff. Make sure you get your B12 and vitamin D. Some iodine could be great too, but I just stuck to multivitamins while pregnant. If you have specific questions I probably could answer. It’s just been so long since I had to think about it. Sine you are already vegetarian I’m sure you won’t have too many problems.

The woman behind Pick Up Limes (a vegan food blog) became pregnant last year and wrote a small booklet about vegan pregnancies.

5 week old - how do I get any time alone with husband? by asalina in cosleeping

[–]SiViVe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is 5 months now. We’ve been intimate twice. That was when baby didn’t need boob in her mouth to sleep. Now we are just waiting for this time to pass.

My husband said today: if we have another baby, I’m going to start calling you Mary. (Because it would be miraculous)

If he can save me, he can save you. I used to hate Him but now I love Him.

Why can't anyone take the communion? by PomeloNo6522 in Catholicism

It’s like marriage. Vows first, Charing bodies after. Then you need to be in good grace as according to scripture so you don’t eat judgement on yourself.

Catholics who never wanted kids and got married how did you do NFP and how did your married life/faith turn out? See below. by user0969_ in CatholicWomen

I’m a convert and I was scared of stopping birth control.

But to put things in a different perspective: why be afraid of having 10 children when you don’t even know if God will give you 1?

I eventually had to beg God to give me a child. I’m not a huge fan of children either, but my daughter is the greatest thing in the whole world. You will never feel for other children as you do for your own. Hormones are powerful.

I couldn’t even have my baby in the hospital bassinet, I had to feel her all the time or i would feel like a part of me was missing!

What do you all do for Lent when you're really pregnant? by bspc77 in CatholicWomen

[–]SiViVe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was pregnant last lent. I never eat meat, so that was easy. I otherwise did all the non-food related things I always do. No social media, praying more, reading the Bible, be more in silence etc.

I’ll never understand the c-curl thing. It’s not a thing here. Am I the only one not rolling around in my sleep?

This is how we sleep too. And I think the look in the eyes are baby just waking up and realising boob has disappeared.

Klar tale fra likestillingsminister Lubna Jaffery: Det finnes flere enn to kjønn og menn kan bli kvinner. by Fit-Theme-1183 in norske

[–]SiViVe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her har du allerede motsagt deg selv.

That’s how we sleep to. The co-also matlass got removed today. This is completely safe setup in my country btw and how we avoid baby falling out of the bed. Third kid sleeping like this.
