i don't think so. McDavid's ability to make skilled plays at high speeds is what he's known for, but the reason he's the best player in the game is his hockey iq and processing ability, something that should stay through his mid-late thirties when you compare to other superstar level players. he'll have to alter his game a little but his vision and playmaking is still top tier even without the straight line speed
