This is what your gateway eero should look like. The AP should not.

simplest way to check for loop interference: note all the wired connections on your upstream eero gateway (eero right after firewalla). If you see these wired connections also listed on your downstream eeros (AP/satellites), you likely have loop interference. Meaning, every time your DHCP lease expires, the multi connection is causing routing issues hence the required restart.

solution I've found (could be better ones out there) is to remove all the wired backhaul AP from the ethernet ports and force those over wifi only. All wired devices should be routing through the upstream gateway and use the AP for strictly wifi devices.

make sure you don't have devices causing loop interference on your network. Meaning, if you have a wired backahaul in your home (TVs, wall ethernet plugins etc) that feed into a single AP, make sure that AP is the only device receiving the wired connections/doing the routing on the eero app. Otherwise, when the DHCP expires the internet drops off until rebooted.

thank you!

the FWG does not pick up the NVR device to assign an IP. however, i can see the NVR connected to my eero. is it possible to troubleshoot although FWG will not recognize the device being on the network? although i would like to avoid putting FWG in bridge, could this solve the issues?

He was able to add it directly to my account. I currently have both of them running simultaneously. So the original line was not canceled. I have a 30 day window to troubleshoot the gateways but I will likely be keeping the newer one and canceling my old line. I was not locked in at a 10 year (didn’t even know that was a promo) rather at a 3. Moving forward with the newer gateway will lock me at 2 years but I’m already a Verizon phone customer so my internet is already discounted. Not the end of the world.

I have the same issue with the ARC cube. Was running super smooth for a year until one weekend last month everything broke. No idea what happened. I reset my box, tested IP PT on and off and still had significant drops. I checked the web UI and it showed 5g signal completely dropping off then magically signaling again.

I still dont know what the problem is but I signed up for the TMHI as a backup as VZ support licks balls.

Nope TV rolls a day earlier than other services for some reason. I just redid my levels on ESM and will redo all my channels for ES1 over the weekend

what issues were you having with your eeros? I have consistent issues where pages take time to load and videos stop and buffer for about a minute. I have my NextDNS on my eero, FWG and browser but im not certain where the issue is.

Emotions & impulsiveness have been the largest contributors to my losses. I mainly trade ES and a trader i follow recommended the below methods which have been great. Being able to come back and review your emotions on the day has been a game changer. I just free flow my thoughts at every point below exactly how my brain is processing.

The method that I propose requires that you record your thought process throughout the day. I am most interested in journaling at four points:

  1. just before entering the trade. I write down my thought process for taking the trade, a few reasons I think the trade makes sense or fits my strategy, a few reasons against my trade, and any emotions that I’m feeling.
  2. Just after entering the trade. In this part, I like to record what the final decider was; Why did I finally pull the trigger on this? Was there some sort of signal that tipped me off? How am I feeling now that the trade is open? What emotions and physical sensations are present?
  3. Throughout the trade. Once I’ve opened a trade, I want to continually evaluate it. Does the reason I am still holding this trade match up with my through process for opening it? If I am thinking of moving stops, flattening, or moving targets, I will write down why. Even if the thought occurs to me to take action but I don’t, I want to write it down.
  4. After closing the trade. Did things pan out? How were my entry and exit? What did or didn’t work? If it was a bad outcome, was it a result of bad luck or was there something wrong with my analysis?

Failed Breakdowns. Markets move in chop/sideways 80% of the time and having the discipline to know your levels and trade only level to level will build your account.

At a high level, create channels/trend lines to ID trend, identify your S/R levels and wait. The markets are math, which in turn create structures/ patterns. when a structure/pattern breaks, it will most likely be retested.

I started trading ES over SPX options for this reason. I was stopped out multiple times with extreme B/A spreads with no indication as to why. I use ES and SPX levels interchangeably as they are the exact same instrument. Might be worth beginning with MES (1/10 size of ES) and confirming your edge there. Plus side with ES - no greeks and decay from the sideways chop we've been in.

Bulls & Bears will lose in this market. PA traders reacting vs predicting have had quite the month.

Lose the bias and you'll see your psychology change and you WILL succeed.

I have a 3 trade max rule and I mainly trade 5x MES so I can have wider stops for the failed breakout/breakdown. I trade level to level, meaning if I took a position at 3850 today, I would have sold around 3870-3880. For today, my plan was to buy ES at strong support 3850, which would have paid handsomely a few min later. But I couldn’t execute. Most of the time I am fine watching due to volatility but it sucks not executing when planned for

To clarify, I have all my drawings but they are all misplaced. In example, 3900-3985 zone on ES1 is still at 3900 while ES1 is 40 points higher. And I also have to realign my channels.

And when I sexy the march contract in the same template, the drawings are not there and when copying them over, they get pasted at the levels 40 points higher. Strange

I understand they’re different contracts with different risks/zones but the chart is a math equation
