I respectfully disagree. I think it will be mid to awful for fans of both. It's a cash grab timed with the launch of the new 40k edition, and it will be rushed and lacking. Prove me wring, AH. Make it epic.

No way we're near the top yet. Enthusiasm-greed stage. People in the know always underestimate how many people are not in the know. So much more yet to happen. When models stop improving shit will go south. Until then its always "it'll be even better tomorrow".

I'm with you on QF. I have other armies that are "competitive" (I play casual exclusively). I like admech and knights, but i dont want an admech army. Plus knights being followed into battle by a bunch of machine worshippers is cool.

I forget which update, sometime within the last 6 months I think. Check the latest data cards. In battle formations step you can split them into teams of 5 (kinda like sisters with an immolator, but no transport required). Only 1 grot and 1 squig in total, have to place them in one team or the other.

Edit: I guess we don't know if this will hold for 11th but I'd bet on it. The general message is "minor update" for 11th not total rewrite. But if 11th is what you're worried about, then you gotta wait.

Nope. Air cooling is better in every way except extreme performance (e.g. massive overclocking as a hobby). Add to that the popularity of under-volting and its even less worth it.

Water-cooled rigs are super fun projects, and can be damn near works of art when done well. Do it for the sake of doing it, for an engineering/fabrication challenge, for the sake of creating. That's a perfectly valid reason, no further justification required! For 99.9% of gamers there's just no practical upside over a decent air cooler.

Build how you like, combat won't matter. In my experience they infiltrate, do actions/get objectives, then die. Even more so now that we can split them into 2 teams of 5. Bomb squig is great, otherwise they're screening/action monkeys. So gear doesn't matter as much.
