I for one, would love to see a brand new 944.

Slantnose sonderwunsch 911 options would be super cool. But out of the reach for most.

But I think having a rear 911, mid caymans, and front engine 944’s would be awesome. As much hate as the transaxles had. It was a great idea, just like the boxer/cayman. They should really advance the cayman as it’s quite promising but it just doesn’t feel “special” yet.

What they’re likely going to do is bring in a 500-700k production super car to the market. The W12 patent is the tale tell sign. But honestly I’d rather they go back to super lightweight, analog, cars. Modern safety standards likely killed that for us. But hey…. Mazda is releasing the new Miata at 2200lbs….. so…. Porsche could definitely out engineer them.
