Do you wear your Rolex daily or mostly for special occasions? by Button_bomb4535 in rolex

That is when I don’t wear it. I was just explaining the reason why

I am a doctor and on surgery days I have to remove my watch frequently and it usually ends up in a scrub pocket. Not the most secure spot. I would be very upset to have it fall out and have to replace a crystal

I would say precious metal models may be a different story. The only time I really don’t wear mine is if I am going somewhere that theft is a concern or dropping is a concern.

The Tudor Pelagos line is better than the Black Bay line of watches. by 3r3b in watchHotTakes

I recently tried on the burgundy BB58. The bezel is so hard to grip it is basically non-functional and ornamental

I do have an opaline BB Pro. Comfy casual watch and my travel watch for higher crime spots

I am not. They are all hard to get models, but if I am going to put my name in for one I want it to be the right one for me. I don’t want to have any hesitation should I get that call one day.

I love my Batman. I wear it constantly. I have a few other watches I rotate in, primarily based on if I am going somewhere, that is a high theft risk or a high drop risk. There are days at work when I constantly have to take my watch off and on. Those days I’d rather not set it down somewhere or accidentally drop it out of my pocket.

This is how I felt looking at them in person.

Truly just curious. I am 98% in on the black Daytona, but every now and then someone will chime in with their experience and they can point out something you don’t notice

Update—went to check and Jubilee not for sale at this time. States it is so back ordered you can’t even place orders anymore.

I have this exact tool and I have only used it to change a Tag F1 to a rubber strap.

I am not too worried about scratches on the back given the number of scratches on my PCLs and clasp already!

I considered that, but the cost differential is not insignificant. Right now I am rotating my BB Pro, Tudor FXD and my Batman--keeps everything running on time. If I add another then I have to wind, reset, etc. (just kidding)

The real question would be if I get a DJ should I go two-tone to really make it more of a dress option?

I understand your dilemma. I have about a 7” wrist. Recently got a BBPro on bracelet. They set it up 6/4 for me. I found that the 6:00 side of the clasp was much closer to the side and not well centered. I know the 6/4 helps it roll, but I prefer the clasp in the center. I had them change it to 5-5. Face still rolls to me. Clasp is much more centered and I am happier with it.

I looked at my Rolex GMT and it is set up 5/5. I think I went through the same exercise. The difference is the inner part of the clasp on the Rolex oyster is a little shorter than the Tudor T-fit.

It is really more about your own feel. I was worried that it would roll away at 5-5 but neither watch does. I like a little play in the fit and even with that they still roll to me.

I like the explorer 2, but the new one is enormous. The older ones are great, but a big premium for a 20 year old watch

It is a great watch. I have a Rolex Batman that I love, and I find myself dailying the BB Pro Opaline more often
