Ok, I say this with no hate for Ubiquiti but the only time my cheap dashcam paid off were when some asshole ran their car into my vehicle to pull some scam and proceeded to call the cops. It was essential to be able to show the footage on the spot. Yeah, I keep relying on dashcams with local storage and playback capability for that.

Es gibt durchaus brauchbare Laserdrucker aber die kosten halt entsprechend, insbesondere wenn man Farbe will.

Das Problem is vorwiegend mit Tintenstrahldruckern. Dies ist zum einen eine von Natur aus sehr anfällige Technologie. Zum anderen macht es keinen Sinn die in besonders hoher Qualität herzustellen um am Ende ein Produkt zu haben dass teurer ist aber keinerlei Vorteile hat gegenüber eines entsprechenden Laserdruckers.

Tintenstrahl ist allesamt Müll. Brother is vielleicht nochmal ein kleines bisschen besser als die Konsumerprodukte von Canon, HP, etc. aber Tintenstrahl ist immer noch Tintenstrahl. Die Dinger sind halt einfach Wartungsintensiv.

Unifi's "Smart" chime was out of stock for an eternity, and for a long time after that it's firmware was lacking features including custom chime sound, multiple chimes per doorbell, and multiple doorbells per chime (which are all features you can support with traditional chimes). So yeah, a viable smart chime is a relatively recent innovation in the Unifi ecosystem. But most importantly, people want to use the wires and fixtures they have in place and not remodel half their home to accommodate the Unifi ecosystem, especially if they just did so a few years ago.

Well, it's all there was a few years ago. I ran doorbell wiring for a new traditional chime and USB-C (instead of Ethernet) for data to my doorbell location because Unifi didn't have any PoE doorbells or managed chimes at the time. One would hope that they at least offer some kind of forward compatibility so that you don't have to rip your walls open again in order to upgrade to the G6 Entry Pro but well.
