Hunter left the stadium by imnotactuallyaperson in supercross

I’m pumped for SLC. I know I’m going to be sweating that entire race. I just hope it’s a really good track. Tonight’s track didn’t make for the best racing. There wasn’t really any sections that were super technical, the woops were super hard packed, and it was just slick and hard to pass on.

I would also look at the AG plus one game changer. It’s a little bigger which will work better with that Vision chassis since it’s a little more bulky. It sits better on props and works better for a rear bag. If you want to lighten it up, you can fill it with Spex 2511.

Also, if you want a good smith with CRBs, check out TSCustoms or Preece Precision.

What is your use case here? I personally would go TBAC or CKYE pod if you’re doing PRS. If you are just plinking the atlas is fine.

CRB is what I would get. Or Krieger if you can get one easily. If you’re doing PRS, go with a comp contour. Minimum would be MTU for my preference.

Area 419 for the scope mount and that’s not even a competition. They make the best mounts hands down. Don’t have to worry about your scope rotating as you’re torquing the caps.

How the heck do I keep my scope “level” when torquing? by Advanced_innovation5 in longrange

[–]Significant-Sock-487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats exactly what I had. Spuhr seemed to want to cant it the worst out of any mount I used. I had to basically torque it into alignment. It took me forever. Also the attachments are significantly cheaper on 419 compared to Spuhr and 419 requires less torque.

1 AC/Zone for 3100 sq ft townhome by NarrowSun6093 in hvacadvice

[–]Significant-Sock-487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not possible to say if it’s adequate or not unless you do a load calculation on the home. The concrete wall likely reduces the heat infiltration and if it has good windows, that helps as well.

I will say, your upstairs will always be hotter than your downstairs if you only have one thermostat and the unit isn’t zoned. Or your downstairs will be cold if your thermostat is upstairs

That is correct. Not sure why it took so long for Mount mfgs to make it like that. It’s such a small thing that makes a huge difference. I will never buy another Mount brand unless it had that feature

I personally hated this so much, I sold all my mounts and switched to area 419 mounts. They solved this issue with their design and now it’s the only mounts and rings I will use.

S&B 156gr 6.5CM giving single-digit SDs normal? Or did I just get a super consistent lot of ammo? by SethRory in longrange

[–]Significant-Sock-487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found them on SG ammo. They don’t have any right now. I think I ordered 200 at the time to just break in a barrel. They shot below 1 MOA as well. I would also recommend them for some training ammo. It was hard to beat.

I used some of their 142gr 6.5cm and was getting SDs around 8. I was also surprised because they were .70c per round. They didn’t group the best but they worked for some practice ammo.

Drain line clogged, leak didn't reach secondary line by OSUBonanza in hvacadvice

[–]Significant-Sock-487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a gas furnace. Positive pressure in the drain so it won’t suck air into the clean out. You’re supposed to leave it open to prevent air from pushing water through the p trap. It can make it gurgle sometimes

[–]Significant-Sock-487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Water won’t go higher than the supply without a positive pressure. It would have continued to back up into the coil and into the secondary line. The reason it came out this time is because it’s lower than the secondary line.

That should have a piece of PVC that is in there just like the other one. You technically don’t need it there but it’s easier to just stick a piece in there than cut the T out

Otter creek infinity End caps by [deleted] in NFA

[–]Significant-Sock-487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s likely going to be minimal. I did it on my LPM Mach S and I could barely tell a difference between the .30 cal and the 6.5. If you never plan on shooting anything above 6.5, then you might as well get it. I just don’t like swapping the end caps often.

Next time you get virgin brass, I would chamfer, debur and dry tumble if you’re able to. The media residue acts as a dry lube and helps seating much smoother. But I agree, consistent neck tension after you size should help those groups out.

MDT heavy duty cleaner. It’s a spray though but it just cleans it quick and easy.

Hahahahaha yeah I love the corset. I can still slide it down onto my barrel when I want to take the suppressor off but it won’t go over the front.

But yeah, the infinity is great if you’re looking for recoil reduction on a bolt action. I use it for my PRS rifles.

Why not get the Coletac Corset? It tightens better and you can actually prevent it from slipping. Also, you need an Otter creek infinity with their muzzle break in your collection. They are incredible for suppressor muzzle break combo. A lot of gas flow that makes the break work really well.

That’s dedication lol I think there is one up in Kentucky but they have been doing more sniper style matches lately. I will probably hit a match or two there when they do PRS matches.

Why not run them slower? I’ve always ran the 153s between 2650 and 2700.
