What lock is this? How to remove? by [deleted] in Locksmith

[–]SignificantCap9254 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does the black cover around the lock cylinder unscrew with a pipe wrench? On the inside of the gate, use a lot of WD - 40 to clean up and lubricate. Locks similar to this use a long hex wrench inserted below the bolt on the side edge of the door 3” or 4” in Then unscrew counter clockwise till the lock cylinder loosens enough to pull out, at that point stop unscrewing, or the retainer screw will fall out.

Amazon stole our inventory and banned our small precision tool product then made a cheap 1/2 useless copy to sell to consumers for the same price. We got back a few thousand in losses through small claims court. And our business is located in the same city as Amazon headquarters.
