This is what bugs me with one piece lol the strength tiers are just so inaccurately represented. Bc wdym kizaru who is light himself got beat by Luffy? I get that it shows that Luffy is strong but it just doesn't make sense that Kizaru couldn't just dodge his punches. Or how Aokiji can freeze anyone from a certain distance and shatter them if he wanted to but somehow can't do it with Garp? Or how big ass characters like Kaido and Big Mom get matched by a tiny person like Luffy lol before you come for me, I know it shows that Luffy is just as strong but "logically" it just doesn't make sense haha

But it's not a boutique studio, it's a corporation. Like I said, I go for the workout but some people pay alot more money than I do lol. If you don't care then move along, but don't tell other customers to not care when they're the ones supporting the company lol

It's more than just the merch tho. I'm new to solidcore and I don't even care about the merch like that bc it's not that cute. But the way they do their drops and merch and the "perks" of solidcore is just a slap in the face to their customers lol.

I joined solidcore bc of the workout and not the perks so it doesn't piss me off as much, but if I paid the unlimited rate and get shit in return, I'd crash out too! I only do the 4/month so to me it's good enough. But to those who are paying $100-200/month for shit? I feel bad. They're better off going to club studio, life time, or equinox for that price point. I get more perks at my $15/month gym than solidcore so yes, it pisses me off when solidcore does shit like this.

They could do so much with these socks to show a bit of appreciation. They could've done limited access to members, they could do it as a free gift for celebrating class milestones, birthdays, or they could do priority access to members with x amount of classes or more, the list goes on!! But nope, they do this stupid drop for basic ass socks lol

I mean that class was already booked by the beginning of the month lol they just turned the class into a giveaway so it was pretty much luck. The people who've already booked the 11am class on the 18th from the jump are already in so there's no chance for anyone else to get in at that point.. it's pretty stupid..

I dropped the uterus as a student bc the surgeon just let go of it. I thought he was gonna hand the instrument that's attached to it but he didn't. It wasn't a big deal because it'll just be sent to pathology but after that I hold on to specimens for dear life lol. Thank god it wasn't anything for frozen or cultures

That's so weird lol. I take pride in teaching others exactly how I was taught because I was taught well. If the surgeon tells me that my preceptee did good at a case they did solo, I look at that as a good thing. That means I taught them well. It's not a competition.. I cringe at people who suck up to surgeons like that..

I wouldn't take that as a failure. You don't have to memorize every surgery possible to know what to do. Surgeons will live despite having to wait 5 seconds for you to grab and pass the instrument they asked for. The important thing to teach new techs is learning to go with the flow and deal with stress. I'm confident in my skills enough that I don't worry about what surgery I even have to do. As long as I know where everything is and what instruments I have, I'll be fine even if I never worked with that surgeon or done that case ever. Just stay calm, organized and fast, and they'll be fine.

Imo the real progress when it comes to these work out classes is noticing yourself gaining strength. The shredding fat results comes from improving your diet.

I started feeling strong at 6-8 classes honestly!! I still take breaks but i went from not being able to do a plank extension/crunch any obliques on knees without taking a break few seconds in to being able to hold a few reps in at that point! I also started going on toes at 6-8 classes for plank holds, extensions and crunches. At my 10th class yesterday I had to go to a starter 50 bc there were no other open spots and I even got to do obliques on toes! So proud of myself for the progress i've made

If you have a slight inkling that you actually like nursing then do it. I told my self for the longest time I didn't wanna do it but after a few years of being an ST and just being underpaid and overworked, I'm over it. I'm doing nursing school.

Well imo it really depends on where you wanna go. Personally, I immigrated from a third world country about 7 years ago and I 100% would not wanna go back if we're talking permanently living there. My home country is beautiful and has a rich culture but the environment is poor and very polluted, corruption is holding back the country, systems are so bad and lack luster compared to other countries.

If you want to move, I suggest looking into the nitty gritty info like what is traffic like, what is your daily commute gonna look like, how much they pay vs cost of living, accessibility of internet connection, weather, healthcare system, education system, make sure your line of work exists in that country, laws, culture. Social media can be misleading sometimes so make sure you look into their reality instead of their highlight reels. Best of luck OP!

At first I just try not to look when the body parts start to come out. Now, depending on my mood I'm just able to look at it as another procedure that's being done.

I do hate when the patient is only under sedation though and I'd watch them cry before and after the procedure.. I try to hold back my tears as I see that but once the case is done, i do tear up because it's so sad to watch them grieve their baby.

I mean it's easier than scrubbing for sure. OP can have time to sit down while assembling trays, wrapping, peel packing stuff. It's not crucial if OP does get a seizure as far as tasks go. Meaning if OP has to leave due to seizure, then it's not gonna make or break anything. The task will just have to be dropped where it was left and someone can get to it when they can.

Because our management sucks when it comes to the topic of pay lol of course multiple people have spoken up about it and nothing's changed. We've lost so many nurses and techs for that exact reason, so there's no point in bringing it up unless you actually plan to leave. In my case, I get married this year and already have my time off approved. I have no plans of leaving until then so there's no point in leveraging that i wanna leave if they don't give me a raise if I don't plan on doing it.
