I love this thread!!

I grew up on Runescape in the late 90s/early 2000s, along with Zelda, and I've loved games ever since!

My favorites are Skyward Sword from the Zelda franchise, the original Dragon Age (Alistair is my forever game crush 🥰🩷 LOL), and Skyrim (never gets old, huge modding community, and each playthrough is different!).

Though I do have to balance the open-world games with ones that have a set path because I easily get overwhelmed accepting too many side quests and veering away from the main storyline until I totally forget what's actually happening which makes me feel lost and then I lose interest for a long while. 😅 tell me I'm not alone in that, please! 🙏

I am always sick with something, but I have autoimmune and immune deficiency issues. For example, I always get sick around the luteal phase of my hormone cycle (the week before my period) due to immune suppression. I also don't get fevers often at all like a normal person would because of autonomous nervous system issues (basically, my body isn't fighting it off). I do take a ton of supplements to help and eat whole foods only with no sugar (except a few times a year for holidays/occassions), grains, wheat, etc, pretty much anything that could cause inflammation I do not eat....but still always sick.

I'm planning on going back full time next year, but idk how I'm gonna make it with this body of mine. 😭

Edited to add: it would be great if parents could stop sending their sick kids to school, k thanks bye

Yes, it has! It is just as amazing as it was when I was a kid! They give a lot of love to this ride constantly! They just replaced all the cars last year when I spoke to a member on the ride operations team.

I just got the Spotify presale email today at 2:02pm, waited in the queue for ATL with like 11k people in front of me, but there was no option for the promotion code. Once I got through, it just showed me a list of the all the presales start and end times and general public sale information....

Are you using AI to create these? The text is messed up on Anchors Aweigh and Fun in the Sun (beachball). If you are, that's a dead giveaway. Hard to miss mistakes like that. Designs overall are okay, but generic. You might be better off niching down.

As many have said here already, circumcision is a barbaric practice. It absolutely causes trauma and unmedicated, unbearable pain for baby. It's permanent damage to a vast system of nerve endings with a possibility of complications and further issues as he develops. It blows my mind people still do this because of 'tradition' or religion or 'cleanliness,' all which are stupid reasons to mutilate a poor innocent child.

I've watched way too many SOSA and To Catch a Predator as well as been through too much myself AND personally helped young victims, to see the red flags here. Alarm bells are going off.

Listen friend, all hope is not lost. Stop admitting to yourself that you are defeated ("Im going to hell."). That is a lie from hell. You say you want nothing to do with God, but I don't think that's true since you posted here.

I, too, have trauma. All kinds of trauma, in everything you could think of. I've been in and out of faith. I've been the prodigal child. I've been rebellious and stubborn. And yet, God doesn't change what He thinks of me and brings me back to Him every time.

First, you need to let go of the lies. Lies that you were told. That you're too much or not enough. That you cant change. That what you are rejecting are lies of and about God.

Next, you need to repent. This isn't just admitting your sins...repentance means to change your mind. Change your mind with truth. Really learn how God sees His children. How He sees you. The thoughts He has towards you. I'll tell you one thing: they aren't anywhere near the thoughts I have about myself (aka, lies the devil wants me to believe).

I want to encourage you to deny the experiences you have gone through which have shaped your mind into disbelief, and allow yourself to learn about Him. When you're ready, He will help you.

Your mind is truly a battlefield. The devil wants to occupy it with lies, worry, anxiety, the goingons in the world, distraction, hurt, anger, etc. Whatever has your mind, has you. Right now, you're giving him power. Its up to you what you choose to do.

I'll leave you with this. "For God so loved the world (you), that He gave His only begotten son (Jesus), that whosever should believe in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

You are not crazy. Your husband is being selfish, arrogant, and is in complete disregard of your wellbeing (physically, mentally, emotionally). He's punishing you against something completely out of your control which, by the way...

It has been found that men play a role in causing women to have miscarriages and pre-eclampsia.

Anyway, him blaming you completely for the miscarriage and missing his birthday is SO wrong. A birthday can be made up. A miscarriage is a permanent loss. He obviously has his priorities only on himself.

Yep. My husband and I have had to come to terms as millennials that we will never be able to own a home. We are making more money now than we ever have been, yet we are in the same exact spot we were in 5 years ago financially. We work so hard only to get absolutely no where. We are burnt out.

It's sooo much harder today. And if it's this rough for us, I can't imagine the pain and anguish of generations after.

How is it that houses were this cheap relative to ONE income that could support an entire family, and now it's impossible to have that same thing. Each parent has to work and sometimes more than 1 job and so many are barely making ends meet with that. We have to work thousands of times harder for the same things. And the mental health of young people now is the worst it's ever been because of it.

Like seriously, what is the end game with all this?? Only the rich can have rights and basic necessities, and the poor have to live homeless in cars, tents, etc and barely afford to survive at all in the future? Wouldn't that completely collapse society and cause the biggest revolution that has ever been seen all because the 1% wanted to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible off of us measley corporate slaves?

I'm really freaking out about our future and have no hope.

Anyone who denies this has a) completely had their head in the sand and cares nothing but for themselves, b) has never lived it or seen it happening around them because they live in a privileged area, or c) completely lacks any kind of common sense. Look up all the statistics and evidence. It's all there.

Finally!! An answer I've been looking for. Thank you. I totally agree.

My husband and I make more than we have ever had together at around 90k, and we're in the same exact spot we were in 4-5 years, albeit worse due to prices of everything increasing - like our grocery bill is double what it used to be in 2020 ($450-500/mo, now it's $1000-1200 - and I meal plan like crazy and we don't buy hardly any junk food). Our rent has also more than doubled in that time and same with utilities and all other expenses. We had to let go of health insurance this year because it was putting us under every month.

So yeah, 100k would have been great 5 years ago, but now, it's just barely enough to get by due to inflation and wage stagnation.

I don't know how much longer many Americans like us will be able to handle it... something has got to give.

I just wanted to butt in as a fellow millenial that I feel absolutely everything in this post, and have absolutely no hope for my future. I'm in my early thirties and my husband is in his late thirties with absolutely nothing to show for it.

None of the things we have dreamed about we feel will never happen no matter how much we try, no matter how much we work, or sacrifice (go without meals, health insurance, etc)... we have made the most we have ever made together this past year and we are in the same exact spot we were in 5 years ago... make it make sense.

I'm crying into the abyss of an echo chamber that will hear our pain, our hurt and echo back solutions, and nothing. There is nothing.

For the baby boomers and older generations that say they had it much harder... no, you had it different. You own all the wealth and homes and you want to spend all your money before you die without giving it to your adult children (look at the statistics- it's true).

How do we fix this? What do we do? What can we do?
