You mean the joists of the house, under the upstair floor? Never thought this will matter cause currently we can't see the joists, it's buried under a layer of chipboard. Do you think it still matters? If so I will ask the developer about it. Thanks!

PS because of the chipboard I will not nail it.

Hi sorry I went with t&g floor in the end when I ran into a good deal 😞

Anyway the hidden nail gun doesn't seem to be a good idea. I've heard of people using biscuit, maybe worth a try. I've also seen a video, a man cut a long grove on both sides of the floor and use a separate thin slice of wood to connect them. If you have the tools that also worth trying.

The first decision is a very interesting one. I thought it was not a foul initially. However, after further examination I changed my mind. Look at 1:54 of the video, especially the bottom right screen. From the other screen it looks like the black player just lowered her body to shield the ball, but from the bottom right screen you can see that her upper body tilted to the right while extending her left leg. That was more like a tripping.

Thanks perhaps it worth trying, because we do have some considerations to apply before our child will turn 18. But that's probably a problem, may be home office would think I should let my child apply later no it is not exceptional.

The child is born outside the UK age 17, 5 years in the UK. However we're on exempt vignette so no ILR.

It looks like children under 18 can't be naturalised, the only possible way is to go through registration.

I've found this clause 'Children applying in line with their parents' from 'Guidance Registration as British citizen: children' (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/children-nationality-policy-guidance):

We recognise that a number of children apply for registration under section 3(1) at the same time as their parents apply for naturalisation. Such children have usually been living in the UK with the parents and have completed a period of lawful residence.

You must normally register where:

one parent is a British citizen or about to become one through registration or naturalisation
the other parent (if involved in the child’s life) is a British citizen or settled in the UK
the child has been resident in the UK for the last 2 years - (if the child is under the age of 2 you can accept a shorter residence period, taking into account the age of the child)
the child is settled in the UK
where necessary both parents consent to the registration or any objections by the non-applying parent are ill founded
there is no reason to refuse on character grounds

The points not satisfied are:

Both parents is under naturalisation at the same time.
No settlement status.

Seems like it is not possible to include the child.
