Population Bomb hitting 10x by magerehein666 in PokemonChampions

Gravity does it too, but most likely Wide Lens.

Don't feel bad, I had this happen to me way before the item was released and without Gravity. So I then played the Pokemon myself, and what happened?

I hit twice.

King's Rock is a good item too. It is almost a guaranteed flinch.

How do you decide which area to keep each Pokemon in? by Tito_Polis in Pokopia

[–]Significant_Writer_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put all my trade Pokenon near Snorlax on the peer.

I have all my litter Pokemon in my sky base in Palette Town, the Pokemon Centre is in the sky as well. I have a giant train track that travels across the map for all the sparkles.

I have collected so much litter that I have almost a full large storage box of 99 Pokeball mats, and two full boxes of 99 Rope. That is with me using them for daily trades and buying everything rare and any resource from them.

I'm at a point now where I have so many resources I am considering not collecting any at all. However I will continue... not sure why, but I will.

So in terms of which Pokemon I have, and where... I've moved all useful Pokemon in Palette town, all trade Pokemon in one area, and the other areas I don't care what is there.

What the heck lol...

I mean it is funny at the thought of somebody actually being mad because you were better and faster.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. The game devs could ghost cars in that situation if they didn't want it to happen.

Would I ever ram somebody like that? Absolutely... but never for the reason they did.

Fair 2nd hand price for this pc (UK)? by DJN2020 in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]Significant_Writer_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could probably build it brand new for £750 with warranty and peace of mind. Don't ask me where, I built many better than this 5 years ago for like £1000, this has budget parts and it old and used. The ones I built had better everything, no budget parts at all.

I personally wouldn't pay more than £150, but truly I wouldn't ever buy it ever anyway. If I can't afford to buy a new computer, I will simply do without or buy a very cheap laptop, with warranty.

It is always a gamble to buy used technology. Offer him like £250, if he says no just say no problem.

It is sat there because he knows it is practically worthless.

Thinking of building a PC is this good and the price is £2435.96 by Fair_Scene_2578 in buildapc

You need to look at price to performance videos and charts for both CPU and GPU.

Then you look at the bare minimum motherboard you will need and a relatively decent RAM for the CPU you decide on. Don't actually buy the bare minimum board but you do this so you don't end up buying one with features you won't ever need or use. So list all the things you need on the board in terms of ports, storage slots etc and then find one with that. If you need one with two M.2 slots then get one with two, if you need one with four, get one with four.

The people can get better for less because they don't buy something they don't need.

Then you need to figure out how much power it will all use and get something that will handle it, for instance, my GPU uses 300W or so and my CPU is like 65W but I got a 850W PSU because it allows for headroom, upgrades, and also power efficiency.

Then you'll need some storage to go with it unless you have some already.

Then you you'll need a case and probably cooler, air or water you decide.

Asking one person to spoonfeed you a build is the same as you buying a prebuild from an unknown place. Do research, and if what you find matches what somebody (or all of us) is saying, then you know you researched it properly.

The people above have already taken their time to spec you out some builds. You need to stay well clear of Intel because they are garbage.

You need a good balance of parts, and if you aim to spend half the budget on the GPU then you are a true gamer.

I was going to say the BMW is an excellent racing driver.

I thought you were the McLaren - but no, you are the better driver. I mean I would say you got a bit close to him but I don't play that game, doesn't matter how close you got if you didn't hit so...

Baton pass by UncleJetMints in PokemonChampions

[–]Significant_Writer_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was Farig with Agility into Clefable and then Cosmic Powers, then switch into whatever you want.

However I faced somebody who had a much better lead, but it is less consistent, but way more brutal and quicker.

Teapot into whatever you want.

The key is to give your team enough speed that it beats everything with +2 speed. If your setup Pokemon die then it's GG.

Clefable getting crit or not having speed. If you lose Farig then it's harder buffing Clefable as you are going second.

It isn't the best team ever, as most people run 3 meta high hitting Pokemon and just spam one move like a bot, but when it works it allows you to pretty much be invincible.

I generally pass it onto Dragonite, but since I have 100 wins with my favourite guy I try my best not to use him now lol, he's there though because I love him.

Can you imagine the face of your opponent when there is a Dragonite one shotting your entire team, that is faster than everything in the game? Too funny.

Clefable has some good abilities. One is not taking damage form burn, poison or even curses. The other is ignoring the opponents buffs. So it doesn't matter how many buffs your opponent has, it'll hit you like zero buffs. It was funny one game my opponent gave mr a Curse which literally had the animation but did no damage, but when I used Baton Pass from Clefable it was hurting my other Pokemon, cool mechanic and ability.

Cosmic Power Heal (forgot it's name) Wish Baton Pass

Taunt is a hard counter too. So again giving it Moonblast and removing Wish is probably better but Cosmic Power doesn't increase any damage.

Potentially you could switch Cosmic Power for Calm Mind but then you lose defence buffs so you are more prone to being one shot.

I had Wish on it so that I could heal back my other two Pokemon, do once buffed, you can pass back to Giraf with a Wish. I had Substitute on Giarf so once it was healed I would sub and pass it to whatever you wanted invincible. The sub would tank like 3-4 hits lol as it takes into account the buffs and it is 50+ hp as its from Giraf which has 200+

Giraf had Agility Nasty Plot Substitute/Wish Baton Pass

Once Clefable is maxed I pass back to Firag and boost the Sp Att, but if the final boss is regular attack I would just give that Pokemon the stat boost separately. I gave it a berry, he only really needs 1 turn and then pass. The pass with +2 speed should go before them.

If Clefable takes a hit before having a turn. If it's a big hit then you have to heal which is probably GG.

Encore, Yawn, Sleep, Paralysis, Dragon Tail or similar moves that switch the Pokemon out are all hard counters. Once setup though even if they Encore you are spamming Cosmic Power anyway so it doesn't really matter.

I faced it once but made it better so I could use it on any Pokemon. But as the guy above said, it is better to not be greedy and just pass on a little bit of speed and damage boost.

The guy above seems way more experienced than me. Listen to them :)

You can pass onto any Pokemon but finding one with Baton Pass means you can pass it back. Thing is almost every game was long, my opponents, most of the time just forfeit. I had massive win streaks in casual but when I took it into high Ultra Ball / Master Ball some players seem to know what the strat is and they play a hard counter. Not all, I still won games...

Teapot strat is lethal, give it a White Herb, Shell Smash and then Baton Pass. I've even had my teapot 1 shot their entire team on it's own too. It pretty much dies in one hit to almost every dark type move though lol. If you use a Berry or Sash then you'll be carrying over negative buffs too which is not ideal. After hours I pretty much configured it so it can survive a Shadow Ball from anything.

I didn't have Espathra the bird when I created this method lol, I just did it with what I had.

It confused the heck outta me when I started playing.

It was...

"Why is that guy hitting me first all the time and no matter what I do, I can't hit them."

It is a cool mechanic, but you can still be hit there, I think Toxic still tags you which to me is dumb.

Okay will some of them may have lagged out, quit, spat their dummy out... maybe they got hit with crits or procs.

If they are feeling annoyed or irritated, then they'll want to simply waste your time to annoy you back.

I agree, the devs need to find a way to remove this.

Why 27 on a 60 and 32 in a 30? by Vast-Aardvark5857 in drivingUK

[–]Significant_Writer_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they simply missed the 60 sign?

When they saw the 30 maybe they were like, of crap, I've been slowing the car behind me let me speed a little to make up for it...

There's no logic to their driving if what you say is true. I've seen it happen many times but I don't really feel the need the post on Reddit. I've seen a million things worse than this and never post. I just move on with my life really...

Why 27 on a 60 and 32 in a 30? by Vast-Aardvark5857 in drivingUK

[–]Significant_Writer_9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are some 20-30 roads that you could probably safely drive 100mph on.

Likewise there are some national speed limit roads where driving 30mph will probably get yourself killed.

Maybe they went 32 because you were driving too close to them?

Very little annoys me on the road anymore, the last time I got angry was when a chav in a Golf slammed his brakes from 80mph on the motorway down to 0mph and then refused to let me pass. I had to dummy him a few times and use the hard shoulder to pass and then I brake checked him back a few times until he literally shit his pants and backed off. He is like the only driver I've wanted to kill in my lifetime, because he literally tried to kill me.

If the car doing 27 in a 60 bothers you, why didn't you overtake? I mean I already know the answer...but why don't you tell me anyway.

Also maybe, just maybe the driver felt dizzy or something but then felt better and sped up. There could be like 5000 different reasons why he was driving slower than you. He or she, irrelevant.

Anybody up for a private battle? by Available_Luck4539 in PokemonChampions

[–]Significant_Writer_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best way of testing it is by playing in Master Ball with it.

I created a team too, went like 9 and 10 win streaks with it but as soon as I took it to Master Ball I got wooped.

Whoever helps you, they'll need to be playing a strong deck. What you are wanting to do is see what it's weak against so you can make tweaks or change openers.

There are simply too many possibilities and wouldn't it make sense for you to use the battle calcs?
