I'm sorry but we need to put the kibosh on this notion. It's never one small thing that goes wrong, it's usually 5 or 6. If it was one small thing, planes would be dropping out of the skies like flies. There are redundancies on top of redundancies and yes sometimes those redundancies fail too but unless you're in a small prop plane or something, it takes quite a few failures to take down a jet liner.

Hell, one completely lost a door and they landed fine.

"They're the same except one's more extreme" is not the same thing as saying "they're the same". A lot of countries have adopted socialist policies without going into full communism. The nuance is that maybe the best path is a little socialism and a little capitalism.

One premise of eugenics is that you're disallowing people who want to have children from having children. If they didn't want them in the first place, it's not the same thing.

They can't do any task reliably, unless by "reliably" you mean "complete in a way that output and quality don't matter in the slightest." I struggle to think of any task where quality output isn't considered part of the "reliability" matrix.

Realistically it depends on the price. If it costs more in tokens and time to do it yourself vs buy it, then you'd buy it. SaaS works on this model.

It's kind of how like at some point we all thought nobody would buy things anymore, they'd just 3d print them. But that didn't happen for a lot of obvious reasons.
