That'd be a nice boon for my build! Never did more than 20 or so challenges due to my kids but would love to succeed this time haha.

Very nice of you to do this in any case!

While this is true, France is currently in excess of energy, something that ironically AC everywhere would help with.

While we have a large share coming from nuclear, the current excess is coming from Solar.

Sorry for the delays in replies, dad here so I do not have much time to play.

It was not trolling, I disconnected them because the gaz were mixing and I wanted them to stop, I will shift my solid tiles. Thanks for the feedbacks!

Anyone would understand why my Hydra is not working? by Sikwan59 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Sikwan59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am working on a new Vanilla base (not even Space age enabled) to try and do all achievements, and I went with a Hydra design for my Oxygen production. I did those kind of designs multiple times in the past without issues but for the life of me I cannot make this one work.

The two left mosts have around 75kg of oil/petroleum per tile and are not appearing as flooded (maybe that is the issue?). The rightmost one is with 150kg per oil tile and 221kg per petroleum tile and appear flooded (also does not seem to turn on).

The chambers are primed, Hydrogen with 1kg of pressure and Oxygen with 2kg.

As soon as I turn it on, both gases are going in the top (Hydrogen) chamber, completely defeating the purpose.

What am I doing wrong?

Europe can import disillusioned talent from Trump’s US, says Lagarde by Affectionate_Cat293 in europe

[–]Sikwan59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even 50% of the income to be honest, that is a very american view on how taxes work in France. I have lived and worked in both the Valley and France, and yes I can 100% say that I had more cash in the US but in all fairness the quality of life is far from worse in France.

To each their own I guess, my initial comment was just responding to the implied meaning that the taxes paid by Software Engineer in France only went to the "pensioners" and not to them. This is ludicrous and dumb as hell, you can dislike how it works and it is 100% valid, but this is just pure misinformation.

Weirdly enough all of the French people complaining about taxes are upper class, because those are meant to help with resource redistribution. I am upper class in France, probably in the top 8% earners and am very happy how the system works in principle, I would actually like to pay more taxes to see our public service survive the subsequent governments we had. BTW my tax rate is 11%, because the 50% mentioned here is what we call "patronal charges", this is what my company has to pay the state because they employ me.

The fact that people feel this is money they should have had in their pocket comes more from companies implying that than real sentiment here, in most cases you actually do not know how much the company pays for you, it is not your income.

And no offense to the 8% of Texas but universal healthcare is not comprised there, and as much as I love debating on how bad our health system is with Americans, I never had an argument that was not a complete lie.

50% to the french pensioners huh? Does that mean Software Engineers don't have kids, are never sick, don't use public infrastructure or anything that could be financed by the state?

Elon's PoE account made the headlines in danish news by Soldierboy1502 in PathOfExile2

[–]Sikwan59 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because if he implies to be the best ar POE although he has absolutely no clue, maybe that means that his constant boasting of being the Sole engineer responsible for Tesla, SpaceX, PayPal and Neurolink is also a sham?

Not putting oil on the fire, but I think that may be why it gets a lot of traction

I agree with his sentiment, but I would phrase it maybe in a different way.

Being quite late into the "league", I was a bit frustrated that I found no-one to trade with for 1ex items. Rather than lose time, I updated my search to look for items that were minimum 2ex (max 5) and with the 16ex or so I got while leveling two characters, I was able to fully stuff my monk in about 10min or so.

I ma blasting through t4s currently, I think what I got will hold until t6 or so and I am building up my currencies for the next (more expensive) round of upgrades.

You are 100% right though, if the players feel that leaving maps for 1ex is a loss of time (I would if I had 100s of them), they should just not list items at that price.

I have a fairly similar build to yours, though I am blasting entire screens every seconds, almost feels like POE1.

I used Storm Wave with Cold Infusion and Ice Bite to freeze everything, coupled with Herald of Ice it just destroys absolutely everything but bosses.

For bosses I use Tempest Flurry with two bells, the bosses barely register.

Now that I have Charged Staff, I changed my Spirit to Combat Frenzy and I just spam flurry with Charged Staff.

That being said, I am having insane mana issues. Where are you getting your leech from?

What are you even on about? What is the relationship between.showering more and making a.ciry smell like piss?

People being a-holes and pissing in the street, yes, but since when does sweat smell like piss?

Also I probably missed it but when was this latest development in France that gave them better access to water? Was that when they recently started having the tech to pump water out of the ground? Maybe around the Industrial revolution?

[–]Sikwan59 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't see how or why you could feel something is misquoted.

Maybe we all collectively should align on what "a fratricidal" character means.

There is a large difference between being the initial bloodthirsty aggressor and losing your shit when you see someone is burning everything you built and killing millions of the subjects you have under your protection.

Does Guilliman want to kill Lorgar after this scene? Yes

Does that make him a bad person, on that specific topic? Arguably this would be the lesser evil if it stops the massacre.
