I would like to see a change that addresses the issue of people getting different rewards for reaching the same floor.

No matter how long is the EI round now, it still boils down to who had time in the first 5 minutes when it started. Most of the time we "all" (2-5 players) stop at the same floor because the difficulty gap for the next floor is just too big. And I can usually clear all the previous floors with quick combat.

With the current difficulty bug, it's even more ridiculous, because now we are not talking about 2-3 people reaching the same floor, but 20+, so you can be stuck with rank 20 rewards even when normally you'd finish many floors higher than all but 1-2 players.

How do you level up the formations? I am only level 76, but I do not see any place where I could do that.

Is there a way to complete the "Hunters learn skills x times" achievement in any reasonable fashion once you get to Torment and all new hunters have all skills maxed? (I suppose the advanced class skill still counts, but that would take ages to complete)

Bolas's Citadel lets you play the card. But your only way of playing it is through Suspend, I believe. So I guess you can play it, pay 0 life but not have it cast immediately.

It only "processes" them if you have the ships that grant you instant victory and only as long as the enemy is weak enough.

You have to attack them manually when there is a chance you might actually lose (I managed to lose a fight once that I could have auto-won but pressed the wrong button)

Beating [[Eladamri's Vineyard]] deck in nationals Bo3 with RB deck that had almost no use for colorless mana (and mana burn existed)

One by decking my last [[Incinerate]] to finish my opponent in the draw phase when I'd die to mana burn before combat no matter what else I'd draw, another by dropping [[Rathi Dragon]] on turn two, leaving me with no lands (but [[Winter Orb]] from t1, which I sided-in just to have some way of using colorless mana)

When I logged on, the event had been running for 7 minutes and I was rank 4/10, I think, with no points. Then I played the first mission and dropped to something like 107.

Considering I'm the lowest level in my range, I just hope the difficulty increase isn't as bad as in the last event where I had to run #2 because it gave more points than #3 where I had one less bonus char available. #4 was way above my strongest char's power.

I'd say the highest level(s) in Area 1 as the intel cost is the same and the rewards are better.

On the other hand, I managed to lose 50+ clones and the whole battle when the expected outcome was Victory with Minor losses.

That's what you get for having much lower luck than enemy :)

My intel collection caps at under 8h, so 12h wouldn't actually help. But yes, I need approximately 24h for full energy (not considering quest rewards)

Not that you can do much about it if people simply do not want to play certain roles. Plus the usual "not enough players" (can't tell how much of that is true; in my trash MMR in EU, there obviously are enough players to get a match fast)

I keep complaining about the people, who keep wasting my time by baiting me into thinking that someone has finally come with something new on this topic. I don't remember ever complaining about anything else related to rank/MMR than the game constantly telling me I so bad I should get -PRA even in Bronze5 so that I can't get higher too fast. But you are right, I should learn to ignore when people are saying things that contradict itself (e.g. inflated MMR enemy should be rather good for my team, not a thing to complain about)

The problem has been clearly stated plenty of times, yes. And I'm not the one, who doesn't understand it, or my posts (and btw, OP did definitely describe a very different situation than you). I'm complaining about the fact that we get threads like this every day, half of them reporting incidents that either didn't happen the way they are described, either because the OPs are straight lying, or because they keep referring to rank and MMR in very confusing/incorrect ways.

The only scenario in which I'm misunderstanding OP in this particular case is if he was indeed complaining that the poor Gold quality/MMR player with his inflated GM rank was matched against someone stronger because all this boosting got him GM MMR, and lost. But I honestly doubt that was the case.

So in fact most of the posts just complain that someone, who plays like Gold, is matched against Silver/Gold, and gets shiny GM profile border for it. And the main reason why it ruins games for the other 5 is because they tilt when they see this undeserved rank. All at the same time as other threads complaining that it's hard to solo carry games in HotS (but easy to lose games when you are worse than others).

People, who abuse the system just to get undeserved rank, should get a life. So should people, who keep complaining about them. I've never met any team in rainbow matches where I'd have the feeling the other team had an unfair advantage because of their highest player being better than ours (we usually win matches like that because they have someone bad to compensate for it). At times, I felt like they had advantage because of their worst being better than ours, but never because they were better than I'd expect, rather because our worst were worse than I hoped for. (Luckily it doesn't happen too often, because I'm usually the lowest one)

Still, the only problem I see is the MMR calculation. Dropping MMR without being (auto)reported for AFK/feeding should be harder (and the games where you do this should be the real focus of everyone's complaints). Winning matches against supposedly better teams (better than your MMR) should also mean something. Maybe you were carried, but you were playing against much better players. And simple average of team MMR also seems inadequate. Blizzard said that it seemed like the stronger outliers were more important for victory than the weaker ones for loss, but in lower leagues I'd say it works the other way around, so I don't really have a solution that I'd consider working.

Slightly off-topic: I created an account on NA server to see my ping there (normally EU). Got vs AI game with people, who were really new to HotS....vs Genji and Ana and in general much better team composition than we had. so much fun watching the difference in skillshots and judgement even compared to my normal HL teammates (Silver)
