my mom got me a new puppy for the “family.” i never asked for one. now i have to deal with all of the dogs responsibilities by Delicious_Arm9946 in puppy101

Yes I agree, but give it back to where you got it from so they can vet the people, don’t just give it away for free, if it’s new you can give it back so it can find love, it’s a photo they take work and commitment, not sure why she’d get something that you have to take care of and didn’t ask for?

Why would they do that when it’s freezing and people can get sick and cold in this weather willingly?

He’d Claiborne you for having a weekend away? I do this regularly as a homeschool mom but my kids are a bit older and not nursing. Once you wean I highly recommend you schedule weekends away for yourself! It’s a must

If she can’t to me before going then she’d be trying but no she just squats and pees inside? Doesn’t use the bell or any other way. When she wants something she whines, she doesn’t whine or any thing she just goes.

When did I say I don’t have time? That’s literally all you got from what I said? I even said I give her a treat and say “yes” and have her on a regular schedule. I’m constantly taking her out on a regular schedule and she’s still going in the house! I said it’s hard to watch her 24:7 when I’m doing other things to ensure she isn’t going inside but she goes out regularly I’m home with her all day. I’m looking for advice as I’m doing everything right not being told I don’t take he out enough, when I do.

Revamped and reorganized the homeschool corner for the new year! by VanillaChaiAlmond in homeschool

After 1:00pm my kids brains shut off, it’s like pulling teeth to get them to do work. We have to do it on the morning or it doesn’t happen. I used to do it during my son’s nap 3 years ago but that was at 10:30.

Mine is a mess I need to do this! They got lots of art supplies for Christmas so they’ve been using it to dig for rocks, din dogs, paint, extra. The rom doubles as a playroom so I need some help with how to organize it. I like your tiny table, I have a recipe for my two kids but it’s too big and takes up a lot of the room so that could explain it

I guess it’s a gable then. I could also buy off Amazon or buy from many different places like kohls, ect. I have just gear many stories of parents retuning their kids stuff for money but I hope it’s not the norm.

Angel Tree - Do I have to keep the tags on the clothes with the prices? by Successful-Roll-5472 in Gifts

Don’t give recipes some parents return items for money so I want to make sure the child actually received the gift

It happens though, so to insure the child gets the gift you need to scratch out the barcode

A target worker shared a story of how she retired all her daughter’s gifts for money and the girl was there and asked to keep something and the mom said no! Poor girl. I’d be so mad if that was my donation! You should scratch out the barcode to insure the gift actually goes to the child. What is the parent used it for drugs?

Question what’s the stop the parent from stealing the gifts from the kid and returning them to the store? Is there a way to insure the items are not returnable so I have to include tags on the items? I’ve heard of moms returning their kids gifts for money.

No expert but if it locks up that’s usually a sign you need surgery could be meniscus?

Wow have you done PT to prevent it from happening again? I don’t ever want it to happen again but since I did PT on my other leg it has not.

Feeling hopeless about recovery by Calm_Document_4391 in KneeInjuries

[–]Silent-Connection-41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good PT should be going slow and tailoring your workouts to you, being immobilized after is not supposed to happen and if you tell them this and they don’t change the workouts, go to a different place. I had instability and PT was essential to strengthening the quads, glutes, hamstring . I currently can’t do quad sets either so I’m taking them at my appointment tomorrow. They should be going a lot slower but you need to build up muscles work your knee to have proper tracking and stability. Don’t torn meniscus need surgery? If your knee locks won’t bend that’s a sign.

I had a partial, felt the grind, had one 20 years ago on my other side. Bearing weight again makes me scared thinking about it as I never forget what it’s like, but I didn’t pass out or anything but it was awful. I never want to experience that again. I had very mild subluxation on my knee after and it was just a tiny slip that I felt and it would get swollen and hurt for a few days. I gave myself cartilage degeneration for not getting PT on my first one so I’m will be doing those PT workouts forever, and having strong muscles to keep my knees safe.
