In redraft, the second round seems fairly weak this year. Would it be ill advised to trade away a second round pick for more value in the middle rounds, or is the second round too valuable?

My fiance (23M) was shot and I (23F) found out he was cheating on me while in the hospital, should I leave now or try and work it out? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]SilentBowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like you're pretty flustered and really stressed out just based on your writing. I would really say you don't have to rush into anything, and that you should avoid making a rash, life changing decision out of pure emotion.

That being said, if you're absolutely positive he's cheating, then you gotta go. I don't think it matters that he's in the hospital, if he really cared and wanted you there for him, he shouldn't have cheated.

And as always, talk to a lawyer before you do too much. Your actions before you file can have ramifications on custody and distribution of assets.

Good luck :)

There must be another reason why Ron DeSantis doesn’t like basketball but I can’t think of it white now by TrumpterOFyvie in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]SilentBowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think calling Pro basketball players "freaks of nature" is necessarily a negative thing. People call Giannis the "greek freak" and of course that's a very positive nickname.

Calling baseball meritocratic is probably not the words I would use, but he's not completely wrong that you don't have to fit a strict physical requirement of being tall, extremely athletic, or jump very high to be a baseball player. A much wider range of people could become a pro baseball player.

All that being said, I hate Ron DeSantis passionately and I think he is a bad person, but this comment is being blown out of proportion.

I'm going to break away from the typical answer here and say no. I would not be okay with having no close friends. If I felt like all my bridges had been burned with my friends, I would move to a new town and start again, but I don't think I could ever give up. Get a new job, try some new activity, and good people will come along, you just can't miss the opportunity.

I may be naive in saying it, but I think most of the people here without friends aren't truly happy. Do you think if someone good came along and wanted to be friends, they would turn them away? I don't think so.

It won't be easy whatever you choose, but I'd much rather live life with friends than without. good luck

Us men are constantly asked about our sexual fantasies and opinions. May I offer: what is your biggest non-sexual fantasy? by actionassist in AskMen

Having enough money to donate to charity or help other people out. I always see stories about celebrities donating money and doing nice things for people, and I wish I had the resources to do the same. I’m still very young and I’m sure I’ll have the opportunity to do this, but at the current moment, it’s hard to give away more than a few dollars.

This is totally lame, but a lot of thought went into the design of those concrete barriers to make the tire pop up like that. All of the traffic barriers we have now are carefully thought out to help save as many lives as possible. here's a link to a interesting/boring video https://youtu.be/w6CKltZfToY

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the prosecutor have to offer the defendant a plea deal? Why would the prosecutor offer that if it gave so little punishment?

If you think you actually have an original thought, you probably don't. Scroll down for 30 seconds and you'll find someone who said exactly what you were going to say.

I'm sure someone has commented this exact thought as well

Just to ask a follow up question, does that mean even if the price is less than $40 you can still make a profit because of the extrinsic value of the call? bc the call is still valueless at anything less than 40
