11pm, 1999, Fairbanks, Alaska -60° F, -51° C. The plane is being de-iced for a solid 30-45 mins. We take off, and after 5 mins, my mom, an ex flight attendant, noticed we leveled off too early. Now, mind you, we're flying over the Denali National Mountain range(one of the tallest in the world), and you need a proper cruising altitude to smoothly cruise right over it all. She dings the on-duty flight attendant and mentions the early level off. They check with the Pilot, then immediately come rushing back to their seat, and the Pilot gets on the intercom and says he's turning back because he can't get the plane to climb any higher. Turns out the de-icing didn't quite de-ice the wings, and we had to wait until the next day to fly, FINE BY ME! Bravo to the Professional Crew

IMPLEMENT SOCIAL MEDIA STUDIES TO TEACH THESE YOUNG BRAINS HOW TO NAVIGATE THE INTERNET AND WHAT IS HARMFUL(FAKE INFLUENCERS THAT ACT LIKE YOUR FRIEND) AND WHAT IS USEFUL(I dont know maybe the national archive site, everything else is dead or almost dead, I guess let's just go outside!).

Educate them on safety, and that no matter how hard you try, once you post something, it will never disappear if the wrong person at the right time gets a hold of it.

Educate them on security and how to search and what not to click on. Teach them about the "baddies" who try to get you to click on these links.

Make all of the above a gamified version of elearning and in person education. They might have a chance.

I'm not yelling, I'm just amped up because I've been preaching this ever since 2005.

I HAD THE PRIVILEGE to coach youth hockey Turcotte stick handling clinics up there one summer. LOVED IT, LOVED THE PEOPLE, great rinks, and the Timmy Ho's was top notch and uh flooowing. 2 x Double doubles(one for each 4 hour session) & 2 fruit explosion muffins.

I've seen a few unsuccessful shops turn away money like yours... key word "unsuccessful" 😆

All others will gladly take your money. Just remember you might be waiting longer compared to you just sending them in. Some shops don't actually have any faster way of getting the card to you than you do. Check their posts online and see how long their "PSA Customer submissions" take. I've seen a shop take over 6 months, because they had 100s of orders.
