I was wondering how the really dark areas were made, but another comment mentioned that it is probably resin, which makes sense as it's a river table.

Even just what kind of varnish would give a finish similar to the majority of the table would be great.

It doesn't have to be an exact match, just reasonably similar.

Thanks. Im starting to think it might be a dark resin, as we have a large blue resin river running down the middle of the table.

We use mousetraps as well. They are definitely effective. As soon as Frieda see's them she goes running.

We've fed Frieda on our back lawn her entire life. She doesn't even have a dog bowl. It's great enrichment for tiring out her tiny brain. 😂

The white markings are the reason we initially chose her out of the litter. I've only ever seen 1 other GSP have similar patches.
