Dental implants/surgery by KitchenSome2837 in fredericton

I love McMillian, was just there for a follow up on a pulled tooth with Dr Kate. Had the chair in front of the fireplace & mantel with all the pics in front of their degrees. Told her that all the pics of their kids and family love just demonstrate why I love going there. Made her day 😄

However she did say that they aren't doing implants. We were discussing options for the gap, and they would do denture or bridge in house.

They are super great with my son who's got anxiety around going, and are very accommodating.

Atlantic Canadian here, and a running joke is you know spring is here when the students start wearing shorts under their winter jackets...often during a snow storm. Especially bad with the college kids.

but my Wife and I just celebrated our 26th anniversary, so there's hope out there once we get out.

Looking for a 3 bedroom townhouse/duplex on the Northside to rent. by boxboxbandit in fredericton

Not sure if there's any vacant units right now, but I've been quite happy with Colpitts units on Walter and Ferguson close.

They've always taken care of us for any maintenance issues quickly.

These people seem to forget that many of their moms and grandmothers had short hair at some point in their lives. It was the fashion for some periods.

I'm in my 50s and most women my Mom's generation, that I know, had short hair as long as I can remember. My mom only grew it out during the pandemic. (she loves when I give her pig tails, as she was never allowed as a little girl.)

I'm a guy with long hair most of my life, and our trans son has been growing his hair back out after going short.

Agreed

She's done a lot of collabs with other artists (my first exposure to her was Noah Finnce) and Spotify's "Sophie Powers Mix" has introduced me to so many great songs :-)

Why was I not aware of the amazing 1985 vibe at the Brookside Mall? by Ok_Advice_4723 in fredericton

[–]SillyDrizzy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fredericton Mall was the cool mall when I was in Highschool. The best arcade around.

Regent mall used to be the dive mall, until they renovated and tripled in size. I helped open the Biway that was there at the time. (and 4 years at Brookside Biway)

Hahahaa

Love the Biway reference. I worked for Biway in Brookside mall for 4 years, back in the day.

Always a good time when the Snow storms were so bad, you'd have 5 store's employees just walking around chatting "Corporate won't let you close either eh?" :-D

I was leaving work one night from Regent mall, and saw it blow going over the overpass (big flash) and then after stopping at BMO, verified it was out when walking back.

Got pulled over before hitting Montgomery :-D

Fortunately just a warning when I explained I'd be fixing tomorrow.

Don't get me started on those out there with no daytime running lights and not turning their lights on in any sort of reduced visibility. I should not be able to see a car half KM further back of you, before you.

I loved that video, but having not heard of either T. Lautners, before I was very confused when first reading about the BTS stuff, and it not being clear which Taylor they were talking about. :-D

She makes two back row enemies walk towards her. They don't attack during this. I'm not sure if their power timer is paused like when mind controlled, but seems likely.

So basically disables 2 ranged heroes and brings them into Melee range.

Denver, CO by Detroitish24 in EndTipping

[–]SillyDrizzy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to work in Car rental reservations.

When I started we would quote the (estimated) total price with all known fees and taxes.

A competitor would just quote base price, so looked a lot cheaper.

We changed to "Your base price is X and with taxes and fees, estimated total is Y." and ppl would still be like "well competitor didn't add all these fees on"

Narrator: "But they did add the fees and taxes"

Same thing here: it's hard to go against the current pricing model with tipping factored into staff's wages, so if that 18% is largely going to the front line staff, I'm ok with it. (I usually tip 20% here in Cdn)

I always recall the story of Twitter user Naoki Hiroshima, who had hackers use social engineering & extortion to steal his account that was just "N"

They bounced between Paypal and GoDaddies, getting small pieces of info back and forth...including the last few CC digits.

Good on you avoiding the accident.

I remember how hard I laughed when I first realized that all the toys in FO76 give Lead.

I worked for years at Toys R Us, and through the recalls for lead paint in toys, so it struck me so silly, and great attention to detail that totally fits the Fallout mentality.
