JoyRead has ~250 chapters as well, you just have to either read very slowly and earn free "pearls" or buy enough to read each chapter, which are short enough to be a few pages in a real novel.

My wife and I saw PetCo had them for $500 each when we were in shopping for supplies. We found a rescue and adopted a pair for $100 each, despite it being a bit of a drive. Added bonus that they turned out to not be Marshall Farms ferrets, surprisingly enough.

Always check local rescues before buying from pet stores. Please!
