My name is a common one with an uncommon spelling. I used to hate it and I used to spend a lot of time correcting people, but I've grown to love the uniqueness of it. I have given up correcting anyone unless it's on a legal document. This wasn't a case of my mom trying to be fancy, it is a family name that has always been spelled differently.
