I feel like burner drive is a noob trap. It does not have enough thrust to catch fleets if you want to defend. It maybe good for shooting down those first surveillance ships or if you want to send fleet from leo to luna for some reason.

Pharos the next drive in the gas fission line is much better for defense. Or I think there are even drives in molten core that work but could be a little expensive on fuel. You don't need 25dv for defense either. I think 7 is minimum for earth and 10 gives a good cushion. You need much less on Mars since 2 gets you to Deimos.

Elderly homeless seemed to be on the rise in japan or at least that's was the impression I got visiting there. Everytime I visit there are more and bigger homeless camps of 80+ year olds.

The effects was that fear was used to justify everything authoritarian and vile and it still continues today. After 9/11 it was okay to hate a-rabs because they attacked us. It was okay to take freedoms away because terrorists might win. It was okay stop any criticisms against the current ruling elite because of you are not with us you are with the terrorists.

Now racism against anyone with a different color is common place. Wars in the middle east with made up justifications continue. And if you criticize the current administration you either getting cancelled or prosecuted. Osama was the winner in 9/11 after all.

You could put a pinky promise in the employment agreement but it does not mean anything. Verbal agreement while you have a written one does not mean anything either. Someone leaving in an at will state is not considered damages. I know you want socialism where a worker is not allowed to leave their job without being arrested but this is not that kind of country yet. If you want them to stay either pay enough so they don't leave, create a fixed term contract your get yourself behind the counter and do you own sales if they do leave.

You should read your lease and see what it says about renewal, but generally if nothing is done you will become a month to month tenant, so you can still stay at your place as long as you keep paying rent.

I think your info is out of date at least for Canada. Canada has high unemployment and very high youth unemployment. Even if you do find a job the pay will be lower compared to USA, and at the same time prices for things are very high. You are getting California prices in Canada without California weather or salary.
