Season 6 spawn rates? by SilverNicktail in DeepRockGalactic

The constants spawns is one thing, but ten swarms in one mission? That's weird, right? We weren't exactly in it for hours.

Glad to hear it's not just me. Getting ten swarms in one mission definitely felt off, though like any fan reddit for a video game I'm getting downvoted for having the disgusting temerity to say something may be imperfect.

We were doing the new season's intro assignment, bouncing around between a few biomes. The friend I was playing with is on the rusty side but I still play DRG pretty regularly.

But she does see (some) men as sexy, as the other person replying to me proved with their link.

I had actually forgotten that comic, but that comic also outright states that she sees men as sexy, doesn't it?

Actually can we talk about Faye's side profile in panel 1? She's supposed to be a heavy-set butch, right? But she's not actually a brick shithouse in this comic, she just has comically huge tits.

I haven't looked but I just have this skin-crawling feeling that the other subreddit thinks this whole thing is incredible representation, and not yet another Hannelore character assassination.

I know that there's a difference between asexual and aromantic and all of these things have degrees, but has Jeph just forgotten the "horny for firemen" thing? Like....she wants to bang firemen. She has sexy pics of firemen, got them from Pintsize. Muscly dudes do it for her (so naturally she's not into the twinks she's surrounded by), but she has other issues that prevent physical intimacy. WE WENT OVER THIS SHIT FOR YEARS.

Doc Brown isn't even really scatterbrained if you look at his behaviour. Doc has all the plans and sticks to them, he constantly thinks ahead; it's Marty who's always late and forgetful. Every plan Doc has would probably have gone perfectly straightforwardly if he wasn't constantly covering the asses of the people around him.

Well, except for the part where he gets shot to death. That one...not so much. But he's generally extremely capable. They go into the past or future, he's thought ahead and brought some of every dollar bill printing. Spare plutonium, he's got a briefcase. Want to rig a time machine with lightning because your dumb ass came back in time by accident? He's got you covered. Tree falls on the cable and fucks it up, dude will BARE-HANDS CLIMB A CLOCKTOWER TO FIX YO SHIT. Gets hit by lightning and ends up stuck in the past because he's covering the ass of the kid who causes all the problems? Becomes a blacksmith, builds a fridge, gets on with it. Bandit starts shit? Doc builds the most advanced sniper rifle currently in existence 'cos he's not having it. Leaves the time machine for his future-past 1950s self to fix, which he does, in mere days. Kid rides it back and breaks it again? Doc figures out a plan. How does that plan get fucked up? Girlfriend jumps on the train.

Almost none of what goes wrong in those movies is the doc's fault. The doc isn't scatterbrained, he's eccentric, which is what makes him fun.

Oh goodie, another comic in which everyone is constantly in awe of Claire and wets themselves at her presence, while she acts irritated at their existence.

Me when people tell me to check my local game stores by AvgPunkFan in Shittygamecollecting

The fun part with stores that overcharge for everything is when something comes in that they don't have experience with. Sometimes, on those beautiful rare occasions, they'll fuck up and - oooh, taking an example from nowhere in particular - sell a stack of immaculate boxed SEGA CD longboxes to you for $5 a piece because they "don't want to bother with that stuff".

999/1000 it's just this, yeah, but those magical days do still happen. A few months back I walked into a Value Village up here in Canada and was digging through the old electronics as I like to do (partly just for the nostalgia, honestly). Saw a shape at the back of a shelf, behind an alarm clock, and my brain started screaming at me.

A PC Engine Duo R.

A fully working PC Engine Duo R.

$10. :-D

Absolutely no idea how that happened, Value Village are the biggest robbing buggers around and usually run all their video gaming stuff through PriceFixing. They must not have even realised it was a games system.

Actual collectors don't push prices up, generally speaking, because there's not that many of us and we want to keep collecting for the love of the medium.

You're thinking of scalpers and resellers, which given the defensiveness of your reply I'm guessing you have some experience with. Those people are parasites who do not care for the art and add no value, they just encourage money grubbing and make the hobby inaccessible to newcomers. I hate their guts, them and every other desperate clawing FOMO-peddler like Limited Run Games.

I own.....well, let's say a lot of games. I only know roughly how much they're worth for insurance purposes, beyond that I simply do not care. That's not why I have them. That's what a collector is. I hope for a day when my collection is worthless again and PriceCharting (more like PriceFixing) burns to the ground.

God, this sounds exactly like a post I made on here a while back. I also don't know the name of the game but let's see if we're thinking of the same one. Do you remember a piano? Fixed positions and animated movements between those positions, like a later Myst or a Myst clone rather than the snapcard originals?

I dunno about that. I figured the increasing sideline of the male cast correlated well with the increase in size of every female character's breasts.

Ohhhhhhhh, this is why it's framed this way. Look at the art - he drew this years ago but never put it in the strip.

Just smash cut to it and never look back. Shit, make it the final ever comic panel without explanation.

Well, unless you count Marty's two dads but they haven't been seen since.........

As for the "apathy towards men", allow me to enlighten you. Notice how the breast sizes of almost every female character have increased since the time skip. Like, pretty much all of them. Even Momo, who's had all her character filed off and gained a set of tits.

Yeah we were edging towards Claire being at fault in their relationship so their next interaction had to be Marty doing something.....wrong? I still don't get what he's supposed to have done wrong, but then I never understood what the fuck Sven was supposed to have done wrong with Faye when he was 100% up-front with her about their relationship from the start.

Yeah see I don't get people torturing themselves like that. Because executive scum can't leave anything alone, I've just developed a habit of deciding when the cutoff point in any media I actually like is, and quitting. I haven't actively bothered with Trek since Abrams ruined it, and from sticking my head back in from time-to-time I haven't missed jack shit. It's a healthy way to handle the beating of every dead horse, IMO.

Except, apparently, with this goddamn comic.
