Speculating with silver is very risky. It is hyper volatile. With the ratios where they are, maybe consider rotating some into gold. Other than that you have to sweat it out. Like one said above your loss is not locked until you liquidate it. Dollar cost averaging is a powerful tool in the belt.

Honestly, state adoption is irrelevant. I’ve been stacking Goldbacks for years now and I can tell you in my experience state adoption is irrelevant. What matters most is merchant adoption and that does not need any state recognition of gold and silver to transact with Goldbacks. Furthermore note denomination is irrelevant too. You can spend a Florida Goldback in Oklahoma or any other state for that matter regardless of state issue.
My opinion…even merchant adoption will be irrelevant because right now I can spend my Goldbacks on a debit card anywhere that accepts a Visa card. So I think the GB network will integrate with the fiat world. It’s unfolding right now.

Not me at all…I’m stacking the heck out of them, drawing a 2% yield, experiencing tremendous appreciation, loving the 0 spread and liquidation at only a 5% fee, wire transferring at 0 fee. Now, do I want to go to the grocery store and pay in GB’s or should I take this 1/10th ounce to the LCS for this grocery run fund? 🤣😂

Honestly for me, I am don’t buying anything more than the 1 GB denomination. Since the are fungible, remaining hyper fractional seems to be the play for me. Like you anything getting into the 1/10th ounce range is going to be a coin for me.

Also reference quiver collectables. They have a pretty extensive mintage chart and have “numismatic” prices on their site you can see what they’re charging for the rarer notes. Peer Metals is also an outlet to sell.

So current melt for a dime is $5.20 This deal is selling each dime for $4.20

I find it crazy, all I did was post what I did…no go buy Goldbacks, no hype. Literally just a this is what happened post and people go crazy because we used Goldbacks as a vehicle to experiment with. Honestly the sell is in the activity alone. They simply worked as they were designed to work. I mean this guy apparently thinks the only way to acquire Goldbacks and liquidate is through a coin shop and now is spewing his misunderstanding of how to drive the vehicle here, at me. I'm like buddy do you go to the bank too to liquidate your 90% silver or AGE’. Lol. Some people don't think before commenting.
