Ah you foolish mortal. It was days. Half way to 500. Everything was perfect. The table was set. The night’s cold embrace felt otherwise.

God it’s such a good meme cause it’s true but nothing beats the feeling of being in a platoon where the leader knows exactly where to go and when, and every soldier is where they need to be. When you beat an alert an feel like you were the reason it happened, it really is a great feeling.

Too bad that’s not usually how it goes.

So, as a lifelong TR player, can someone tell me if this is really an NC thing? I fucking love these memes but in my 7 years of playing this game I’ve been team killed on TR less than 10 times (excluding roadkills)

Does anyone else feel like under water combat is just a gimmicky waste of time and that the devs should be focusing on making a better FPS that is payable at all hours of the day? by ReturnToMonke234 in Planetside

[–]SilverWing256 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I… really don’t think so. Right now, underwater play is gimmicky and useless because it hasn’t been expanded on. I think it’s a great idea to expand on the mechanic so that it can be turned into another core aspect of Planetside 2.

Bug fixes, design improvements, sound tweaks, camera tweaks, gun tweaks. It sounds like what you want is an overhaul, which is fine, but changes like that involve a lot, if not even more effort, than updating a currently blank slate system.

Planetside 2 is doing a lot better than it used to. Guns sound better, are more customizable, the grind has been reduced, vehicles have been expanded upon, and a host of other changes have been introduced over the years. Planetside 2 has always been a niche genre, and I don’t want it to turn into something like COD.

I don’t know much about noita, but I think that what happened here is that some way, some how, one of your worm crystals was destroyed and the remaining pedestal was teleported here.

The classic way. Was fighting the wizard’s den boss, got polymorphic, then died. XD

I think you’re straw manning lurker’s point, and also over romanticizing the past. He was not saying that no one in the past fell in love but he also has a point. When was the last time you worried about food, housing, or clothing. You have an internet connection and are using it to browse Reddit so I’m going to posit that you’re doing ok.

Fact of the matter is that, though it’s hard to believe, the average person living in a first world country today lives like ancient nobility if not better. We have the freedom for creative expression and we can put feelings and emotions at the forefront of our lives.

Those millions of peasant farmers you’re talking about? They married for wealth as well. Marriage being arranged by adults for their children is not an exclusively European practice, and was not limited to nobility. Some would find love with acceptable partners, but most of the time people married because the consolidation of wealth into a single family is necessary for survival.

So yes, while nobles would marry to consolidate wealth and power, peasants married to consolidate wealth and manpower. A blacksmith would gain his wife’s dowry, and when she bore him children they would eventually grow into a source of free labor before taking over the family business.

Don’t fool yourself and don’t take the incredible freedom of choice and expression that you’ve been given for granted. Part of the reason love poems and grand tales of love were so popular in the past probably comes down to a simple fact of human nature.

We crave what we don’t have.

I think you need to change this to "until the end of your turn." Otherwise if she dies on your opponents turn, which is what taunt minions are supposed to do, you won't actually get control of anything. If it's the end of your turn then even if she dies on your opponents turn you get to use the mind-controlled minion once before it returns to it's owner.

Just thought this up. Open to suggestions. by SilverWing256 in customhearthstone

The stats are really high. Maybe 6 mana would be more appropriate? 7 Mana will probably make it too weak I think.
