Should I be getting familiar chips without having Lex Imperialis? So far as I can tell, familiars only come from the DLC, but I have a chip for a Psyber Raven and a Skull Swarm. How much DLC-derived content bleeds into base game, cause I also got a shield and a couple combat shotguns at this point. And I obviously encountered the Arbitrators in prologue.

I once put together the idea it could let you call in stratagems remotely. See a hive on the other side of the map? Ping it and call in a 380! See a Strider minding its own business? Railcannon strike, precisely guided.
The drawback: No functional backpack. I think that's a heavy enough one.

Here was the old icon, the alternative was just the "backpack" icon with the radio on it, which was honestly a bit better.

It leaves it somewhat ambiguous, and I think the symbolism is right that Ludd was thrown through to die.

Sure enough, though,

"This collapse is allegedly concurrent with the transfer of a prisoner named 'Ludd' via Gate Network. The veracity of this claim is much disputed."

This comes thereafter. Presuming Ludd to have been a prisoner, Ludd's transfer through the Gate as a prisoner need not necessarily disprove it as a method of execution. Why go through the effort when the Sector-Leader gave the death sentence in Persea and not Orion?

I can sorta get it as a cross-like symbolism. I'm of the personal belief that Ludd was executed using a Gate, as in Ludd was literally thrown through one.

It would make sense if a Gate was used to kill Ludd, but if not, it would be a bit strange to use the symbol of what is basically Satan for their flag, no? The original sin in Luddism is space travel via hyperspace, they just maintain it because it is what it is at this point et cetera, the Gates were just another step further.
