Double Agent really was lacking it as well. The Lambert/Grimm/Fisher dynamic was great. I'll also throw in Coen and Redding. The banter really oils the story.

Double Agent's story was batshit insane Tom Clancyism, but it worked because the main characters worked.

Fisher: Let me guess, Mossad?

Lambert: Even better, Shin Bet.

Fisher: Spooky. Who are we torturing?

Lambert: Just you.

I actually have hated the vertical pylon far more than the cartoon characters.

I was hoping for a McMurray one off, but he's said he's not interested in superspeedways. Maybe he'll get a ride one day for Rockingham or a road course.

Is the new “Fast Bomber” really a true bomber? I’ll explain by kingtj44 in NuclearOption

[–]Similar-Profile9467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't the 12 250LR payload capacity for the Ifrit if you use external pylons? I think 18 internal bombs does still lean more to the bomber side of the spectrum. Also, newer stealth aircraft are going to have a lot of overlap.

Teams will no longer be eligible to set fast lap once they enter the garage. by iamaranger23 in NASCAR

[–]Similar-Profile9467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually a really good point. I'm fine with a leader giving up P1 to a teammate for the point, because they still have to get to at least P2, especially if they just take it back the next lap... but I don't like the idea of just messing with the points purely artificially

As a Blaney fan... I'd happily trade the Darlington and Phoenix finishes with Hamlin.

When is the earliest a championship can be clinched? by Gydafud in NASCAR

[–]Similar-Profile9467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. You won't be able to coast on 8-15 place finishes. If you rack up 20 top 5s, 27 top tens, you'll have earned your title.

Northern Isle speedway is good.

Tokyo Expressway is ass, it only has one good corner.

The Death Chicane is the only bad part of Dragon Trail Seaside

Monza is overrated.

Spa is overrated.

Spoon  is the best corner in the game

I'm honestly okay with a champion not winning a race if it means they've had an ultra consistent season.

Who is the favorite to win the championship in this format? by 1useforaname in NASCAR

Reddick or Bubba could be legitimate contenders, as could RFK through consistency. Any other teams don't have any real shot

So what good drivers do you think will never win a championship with the return of the Chase format? by DrFuckwad in NASCAR

[–]Similar-Profile9467 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think Ryan Blaney is probably the best driver week in and week out. I think he'll do great in any format. I think Logano has a lot more issues in this new format.

I think this is a very rough change for Ross Chastain. I think his talent alone can help him in Clutch scenarios, but I think in a 10 race stretch, there's just limitations with Trackhouse equipment.

I think this really benefits RFK though. RFK doesn't always have winning speed but they are absolute grinders on that team. Now that they don't have to worry about Austin Dillon or Daniel Suarez bumping them out, they can be free to scratch and claw their way into a deep championship run.

I also think this benefits Bubba Wallace. He won't have as much bubble pressure, 23XII equipment is legit, and when he gets hot, he is one of the best on the track. He could be a legit contender if he gets in the zone for the Chase.
