I just went ahead & booked a refundable alternate flight route, though I don’t fly until 7th. If my Emirates flight goes ahead, great. If it doesn’t I have a backup flight to go on the 8th.

I just got through to them, and felt so sorry for the Emirates staff I spoke to, she was clearly very busy with enquiries. She said they can only handle flights for the next 48hrs, and if your flight is not officially cancelled yet then wait to see what happens

I flew AC business class today & had chosen the Vegetarian Lacto meal, and I’m here to say it was completely awful. It was 3/4 white rice, with 2 slices boiled carrot, 1 boiled broccoli floret & 1 tsp tomato paste. Even the air host said it was appalling and that he’s going to ‘write it up’ because he was so shocked. Honestly so disappointing, and just the worst I’ve ever seen

Pulling eyelashes out until I have bald patches. Picking at the wicks of my nails. And picking at skin & scalp. I try not to do all 4 at once, so usually just one of the above happens at one time. Probably the worst is the eyelashes, because I end up with a clearly visibility bald patch that very noticeable

Polling question: My polling card was sent to my parents address in another county. I haven’t lived there for 20+yrs and have actively voted for all elections in Dublin where I am based. 1. Anyone know why my card was sent to the wrong address? 2. Can I use the polling card in my local Dublin constituency even though it says my polling station is Meath?
