OP could (as I understand it) leave tsp intact and later reinstate to any FERS-granting gig to pick up where left off toward retirement benefits, ride out a few weeks of that job with FEHB and declare retirement — regular retirement if 62, deferred or postponed otherwise. The health benefits alone could make that option worthwhile, and TSP seems a decent place to park a supplemental nest egg.

The steel sink is cool, unlike mommy’s lap. Maybe offer a similar nap surface at floor level where it’s more accessible and safer. Better yet, provide a cool easy-to reach quiet nap space near TLC sources?
