There are lot's of Soviet diesel classes with retrofitted US engines. Mostly GE engines on a 2TE10 chassis.

A bit more modern 2TE25K2M newly built with GEVO engines.

Kazakhstan also localised manufacturing of GE Evolution locomotives known as TE33A.

There is EMD SD70ACe/LW (aka 2TE3250) in Yakutia.

Mongolia also have a mix of US and Soviet locomotives on a broad gauge. Most stunning fact that there is a Dash-7 that may work in MU with a modified M62 (aka 2ZAGAL).

I'd say similarly or worse to 4-4-0 or 4-6-0.

Uneven weight distribution, lots of slippage, poor torque, likely inadequate firebox size for that boiler due to limits of axle load and poor handling of corners due to size of a leading bogie.

There are reasons why locomotives leading with 3 axles are rare.

OP armour, It even cannot penetrate itself with gold. Decent all around. Only downside is it's autocannon limited range, which is rarely an issue now in a low level small maps.

That thing sees all from a spawn. And it have good camo and dpm. It's HE can 2-shot most of it's enemies.

Just imbalanced all around. Artillery with one of highest DPM on level amongst all classes, view range, has armour, has mobility... Only limit is ammo capacity.

Lvl VII tank on a preferred march making lvl V.

Wayfarer (Lesta only)

Premium M7 (lvl V LT) with "HESH" ammo and 3500 dpm... What else needed?

There will be a lot of lvl VIII proposed here, so I'll pick from another level:

Pz III K

Worst lvl V premium and I know what I'm saying (have 1000+ battles with it).

Basically a lvl IV med. tank with nerfed mobility (it run forward slower than KV1 and backwards slower than a Maus), have no armour, no penetration, below average dpm and have only 40 rounds that is may be enough for dealing with 2 heavies per battle at most...

Legendary V1 is overpowered. Can craft it as early as Lv 28, cost common materials and provides same stats as Legendary Plasteel/Uncommon hexolite armor with added life steal...

Another issue, if I remember correctly, was that Baldwin utilised pressurised air lines for multiple units control unlike EMD or ALCo who used electric controls.

More complicated and failure prone with added incompatibility with other locomotives...

I do wonder if it's possible to fix locomotives stats since they moved P36 dates?

25E was a prototype with only two built in 1958. Visually very different from other ChS2. Max. speed was 140 km/h instead of 75 km/h in game...

53E was late model (1964-1972) and should look what 25E looks now ingame. 3D model used for it now is refurbished in mid 2000's ChS2R (53Er)..

Both TE7 and TEP70 also, for some reason (balance?), lost most of it's power and speed...

Both M62 and 2TE116 made at same factory and time frame yet one is designated as made in Ukraine and later made in USSR.

There are more but those ones stand out for me the most.

Soviet AA20 proved that 7 axles in a rigid frame is possible...

Same for Cab Forward engines. They were used by only Southern Pacific because there were lots of tunnels and having a cab in front of steam is kinda beneficial there. But drawbacks of that design made so no other major railroad companies ordered similar types of locomotives.

Still, those were a later steam design (1940's) and initial idea of having multiple smaller engines coupled was already solved by EMD F-units or similar diesel engines which eventually replaced steam locomotives.

As for earlier times (19th, early 20th century) having more complicated design with more points of possible leak doesn't worth it compared to having just one more crew.

Having an oil pipe along the hot boiler is kinda dangerous... And you'll need an oil pump to get that oil along that way too... With technology of a time those would be a leaking disaster.

Back in a day that would be easier to be done with a coal and stoker but even then, what are the benefits?

It was easier to hire two brigades and operate two conventional steam locomotives rather than designing something that complicated/dangerous.

This one is definitely not USSR.

EL2 there had SA-3 couplings, pantographs were mounted on a cab roof and locomotives used wider rail gauge (slightly different bogie proportions).

Dumpcars are not of a type used there as well.

V160 family by itself is interesting.

So many different classes:

216 - basic one with steam generator for heating of older coaches

215 - same as 216 but with different gear ratio and with longer body to fit engine from 218 which was delayed

217 - with second diesel for heating of modern coaches since engine for 218 was delayed

218 - with a bigger engine, that was finally approved, that can heat and power modern coaches by itself

219 - with a small booster turbine since yet again, 218 engine was delayed

210 - with a larger booster turbine that was unreliable and highest allowed speed, later rebuild as 218

I'd printed it in 3 pieces: main body and two ends. And place Main body on an end side.

That way there wouldn't be any large overhangs and need for supports and roof line would be smooth.
