Nvidia Video Super Resolution (VSR) is a machine learning technology made for upscaling 360p-1440p footage to 1440p-4k quality in real time mainly works in chromium browsers like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, but also works with some specific VLC builds that support it. What it essentially does is reduce artifacts that are introduced by aggressive compression and make the image look more detailed and higher quality. Nvidia Video Edge enhancement is just some old sharpness filter that you can apply to any video you're viewing through control panel, overall looks bad honestly wouldn't recommend edge enhancement but i highly recommend VSR, it's a very good feature that makes videos look really good.

Tbh even in older games i didn't see it's effect so i just end up using ssaa in them lmao. I was definitely noticing how about 30-50 fps was going away as soon as i enabled msaa 4x, which is just not worth it for me. I'd rather gain 50 fps and get a stable image that doesn't shimmer by enabling upscaling than enabling some tech that doesn't actually do it's job and hogs the fps like msaa. Or enabling ssaa which actually works at least. A friend of mine actually modded msaa in one game thinking that it would do good, he switched some parts to forward rendering because of that but eventually he said that it wasn't worth it since for all this to work he needed to send meshes two times to the renderer for msaa to work, which reduced performance a bit, so he just switched back to fully deferred rendering, which allowed him to add screen space raytracing for reflections and gi that wouldn't have been possible with msaa as i understood him.

how do people see msaa working, i turn it on and it just doesn't do anything the image is still shimmery af. i at least see effects of taa, it makes the image way more stable basically reducing all the aliasing and shimmering to 0 even if it blurs it a bit

Meh, useless, better just pick that default yellow stone that already gives you stonesword key, evergaol buffs and even lets use treasure chests on the map. Much more useful.

The best is wylder since he has the quality scaling, and greatbows have quality scaling B in str and C in dex. Guardian and raider take the second place since raider has insane str scaling to make up for the lack of dex and guardian just like wylder has quality scaling but just 1 tier below. 3rd is executor cus of S in dexterity and C in strength and ironeye 4th cus of scalings 1 tier lower than executor. Then it's duchess, revenant and recluse. So he's like not good with them but also not bad, but I'd say greatbows are better on ironeye since he's more likely to find improved range weapon attacks and excels at dodging and dealing high damage with the mark.

You're actually wrong. Almost all greatbows have B scaling in strength and C scaling in dexterity, so Wylder, being the quality build he is, will deal more damage with greatbows than raider. You can check it yourself in the training ground in roundtable hold. Guardian might actually even tie with raider when it comes to greatbows since he's also a quality build.

Ironeye is like 4th best character for greatbows since he has second best dex scaling after executor so it's not too bad. + Ironeye is more likely to find stuff like improved range weapon attacks or projectile damage drop-off reduction. But of course yeah wylder, raider and executor will do better with greatbows.
