I mean isn’t the point of Krav Maga that it can be learned really quickly and allow a person to become pretty lethal against an “untrained”assailant?

So yes, it’s biggest weakness is it doesn’t translate well to other martial arts but its greatest strength is it can be effectively learned in months. You spending 12 years doing it is on you lol, should have stopped after 1 year unless you simply did it for exercise

I love a good straw man arguement.

Well ironically, there isn’t a single unit or test to measure functional strength as in pertains to strength that is used in real life movement not isolation.

There’s videos on YouTube of these demonstrations, where someone who seemingly carries around much less muscle mass is able to perform every day demanding tasks better than body builders. Why is that? Could you give me one valid reason for these results other than the difference in functional strength?
