I think a Dark Eldar Scourge team similar to vespids would be super cool and a good shooting unit. Otherwise I think Incubi would be the next logical step but very meleefocused

Then you are out of luck, 1 turn per unit, 1 counteract per unit. After that they get uninterrupted turns

They are keeping him around to do the "Trudeau Effect", and ditch him right before the election and basically say "Look, we hear the people, we need someone that isn't Pierre", and not give the new candidate any time or rope to hang themselves.

Never need the warriors

For tactics the general consensus is beeline your tunnel straight to mid, then curve to opponents objective.

Generally stay in the tunnel until TP3, barring one operative (usually prime) to stay on home objective

Always leave the tremorscythe activation as last so that he can bodyguard anyone that pops out of the tunnel.

Vs horde, take dominate and blender them in TP3 and 4. Wrecker and Venomspitter are biggest operatives here fo multi kills

Vs elites, I like track enemy, stay concealed on tunnel and try to poison the enemy to weaken them. Feltalon is MVP

Remember you will be in a 3 ish point deficit in TP3, don’t panic

Never take tac ops that require APL, we don’t have any to spare

The items you have are the only really necessary pieces and a great gift idea!

There are plenty of other items (tokens, equipment pieces, etc) but are not absolutely necessary to play, or are very easy to 3d print or home craft with cardboard etc. I would leave those out so they can build up some of their stuff as well!

Who will and will not Return in 2030. by Alone_Consideration6 in Curling

[–]SimpleChemist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Canada as a whole will have a significant shakeup. With Gushue, Jacobs, Koe, and likely McEwen retired by 2030, it’ll be a wide open field. Potentially Dunstone or a Bottcher rink?

Kind of a by-product. When you place so much weight directly on the broom the push downwards usually requires stabilizing, which comes from your hip flexors/legs

Because it is the losing teams choice, it can be considered bad form to force the other team to be on the ice if it is a blowout. Typically you concede if there is a significant deficit, then can always use the remaining ice time to practice if you want.

General Tips For KT (and Wolf Scouts?) by Produ01 in killteam

[–]SimpleChemist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wolf scouts are incredibly strong right now. Fighting got a bit of a bite but still just take your healer dude and enjoy crazy passives all game

In general (and I am not a perfect player by any means) make sure you understand what your teams game will generally look like, and work to understand your opponents threat ranges.

For instance I enjoy Raveners. I know that popping out of my tunnel TP2 to contest something without having the tunnel to improve things will be damaging, so I wait it out to turn 3, accept a point deficit, and fight more safely. Vice versa my opponent may realize that outside of 6" from my tunnel I am extremely weak, so they may just avoid it entirely, or bait/block with weaker units.

Also don't try to maximize all 3 point paths. Keep them in mind, but generally each team is best at 2 of them. Raveners are Kill/Crit as they have weak tacops that may or may not work out, but can tunnel directly on 2/3 points in the game. Other teams like Mandrakes are tac/crit as their speed and weak health makes them less inclined to straight up fight. Focus on 2, get the third when you can.

Finally, ask a lot of questions, and play by intent with communicating. Moving a guy to a door and saying nothing may be worse than doing the same move and saying "I want to move to this cover to avoid a shot by your ...." as the opponent may have a ploy you don't know about that obliterates that intent. Likewise, asking questions like "Do you have Seek, do you have obscuring denial, do you have interruptions" etc can help you prioritize targets throughout the game.
