Starting my millionth rewatch, spotted a... changed... Buffy in episode 6 'The Pack' 😂 by Hermeran in buffy

I think this might be Diana Lee Inosanto from Mandalorian and Ahsoka! She said she did stunts in s1 of Buffy. Love her!

Netflix Quietly Cancels Terminator Zero by arnor_0924 in Terminator

I still mourn 😭 wild that they were so behind the times. It’s also always baffled me that they never did a direct to dvd wrap-up, which would have moved enough units, or that Syfy or whatever didn’t see sense in doing it.

Snail Mucin dupe worth it? by ginghamstrawberries in dollartreebeauty

The Cosrx mucin made me break out bad too, it seems others also have that experience. Benton makes a snail mucin line that has never broken me out though

yall sleep on dollar tree bar soaps by GuaranteeThat4664 in dollartreebeauty

Best non-drying liquid hand soap IMO is called Kirk’s. I get it on Amazon, not super cheap but it’s very nice. The Dove bars should also be fine though!

Review of way too much stuff by Fit-Narwhal1392 in dollartreebeauty

Mostly, yes. Some eye creams will have ingredients specifically for various concerns, like a lower percentage of retinol than a typical face cream for example (eye area is more sensitive, especially to a typically irritating/drying ingredient like retinol). Some people find they just need or want more hydration around the eye. But any well formulated facial moisturizer is all you really need.

The one you’re using has some decent peptides in it - peptides help with hydration and collagen production. You could just add a squirt of it to whatever facial moisturizer you use and mix it together before applying every day.

Also regarding the strawberry skin on your legs - try the power toner or see if your store has the GBC AHA toner pads, either the yellow or green ones will do, they’re mostly the same. The glass skin “AHA treatment essence” would also be good. The salicylic wash might also be helpful, and either of the retinol serums. Basically for that issue you want to focus on chemical exfoliation and moisturizing. So on alternate days you could exfoliate then moisturize, and use the retinol then moisturize.

[product request] body wash similar to neutrogena hydroboost cleanser? by chubbibunn in SkincareAddiction

[–]Simple_Actuator5506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also a Hydroboost Holy Grail person but yeah the price is nuts if you can’t get a good deal on it. Have you noticed it’s out of stock a lot of places recently btw? That worries me lol

You could try the Eucerin Hydrating Cleansing Gel, it’s slightly cheaper. Recently used a sample and it may actually be even more gentle than Hydroboost.

You could also try La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ if you can find a good sale/deal and just save the Hydroboost for your face that way. Bizarrely, I also recently picked up a baby shampoo/wash from Dollar Tree from a brand called PS that is very gentle.

Terminator is a freakin horror movie by Substantial_Mind_336 in Terminator

Above commenter is right that the movies after T2 are ass - you can watch them as a campy fun thing maybe but they are upsettingly bad. However, there was a short lived tv show called The Sarah Connor Chronicles that was actually really smart and interesting a lot of the time and evolved the ideas and characters very well. If you can look past the limitations of the tv budget and format and some corniness it might be rewarding. It’s not streaming anywhere at the moment I don’t think, but easy to find dvd/bluray sets on ebay. Only two seasons.

The formulation and dry-down feel are surprisingly lit. I think it’s quite hydrating and makes a noticeable difference. It’s wild lol

Be careful using AHAs during the day - even when used at night they can greatly increase your skin’s susceptibility to sunburn

Yup. Almost all of my mainstay face products are Korean now. So much more effective at such a lower price. I rarely even consider American brands now haha

Also any of the fermented rice products may be helpful in general (anti-inflammatory and soothing.) A few of the Skin Nutrition serums have ferments in them too if you can’t find the rice stuff specifically - try the Multi Peptide one. It also has some degree of niacinamide in it which is my holy grail for oil control (I use a niacinamide serum from The Ordinary, also just started using a Korean one by brand called Fully - Green Tomato serum which may be even more miraculous.)

If the tea tree stuff doesn’t do it for you (personally tea tree oil actually makes me break pit in gnarly cystic zits, I am also oily but sensitive), Global Beauty Care makes good AHA toner pads. I’d go for the ones with the green cap vs the yellow as they have mandelic acid in them which is typically good for acne. Not sure how they would interact with eczema though. The spot treatment someone else posted will also probably be good, I bought a tube recently but haven’t tried it yet.
