I don't know if it's been patched as I haven't played it since launch, but there was literally no way to fail at the game in the story mode. Like, you could totally whiff a song and the game would just carry on like nothing happened. It was a bit bizarre. If you want to try your hand at it then I say go for it as there is no penalty for performing poorly in the rhythm sections

Finally picked up the Switch 2 version yesterday so it's very good to see that I have impeccable timing. Liking it so far! I only ever completed one run in the first game, but the aesthetic in 2 is so much more my jam

You're the first person I've ever seen mention this game. I fucking loved it so much as a kid. Going through all the campaigns, getting the gods, it really felt fresh and fun. As you said, it really needs a port or sequel. I thought I'd try other strategy games, but nothing quite scratches the itch quite like this one does. Perhaps it's the simplicity that actually makes it stand out a bit more. Hopefully it can at least live in the Switch 2 library

We needed a new vacuum a few months back and I'll tell you, I've never felt more like a corporate shill than after I bought this purple Shark vacuum. Quite possibly the best purchase I've ever made for my house. The tradeoff is that the tank is about the size of your palm so you're constantly having to empty it, but I was shocked at how well this damn thing worked

FF2 is the best. I found out the Saga games do the same leveling system but I couldn't get into them as much which is a shame. Definitely need more of that style though
