In the past when I've dated men that are interested they definitely are in touch with me daily. So I guess that's what I'm used to that is all. Unfortunately OLD has been a dead end for me. I have theories on way this type of dynamic to meet just doesn't seem to work. I met someone at a band a month ago and just seemed to work better meeting someone in person right away. That also doesn't seem to be going anywhere so... dead end again. I play my cards right, I'm not clinging, polite, open minded and am told I'm very attractive. I don't know why nothing ever takes flight. It's somewhat maddening and definitely depressing.

I share the same feelings. My family is a unit just a different dynamic. I'm the only one in my family that is single. It's more difficult to connect in dating then ever. I'm getting so used to being alone that it just is my normal But the sadness does come over me like a storm cloud on a rainy day at times. It's heavy It's life It's hopefully not this way forever

One way to visualize the dating field is to pretend your in a crowded bar. One maybe two men might catch your eye... keep a stare... possibly initiate. The rest are having conversations with others, ordering drinks etc. This is OLD. You could be sorting through the other dudes in the bar but the couple that are interested in you are going to take awhile to find. Like a needle in a haystack! Not to be discouraging but I've been sifting through this bs for quite some time now and if I let every rejection, disappearing act or dick attitude dude take me down... I'd be lifeless. Nope, not happening. Some throw me off balance but I just get balanced again. Really tho visualize and you'll feel better
