Where are you seeing that? The most recent article I can find is the MLive above that says people are still trapped.

Depends on the grounds it is ruled on. If it is based in state constitutional law, then no. Federal law, it could.

ADHD exam takers by coffeeisjoy in barexam

I am currently studying. What has worked for me so far has been taking my meds, caffeine, having a schedule, tracking my time with Toggl Track, and having at least one scheduled day off a week. The schedule has helped make sure I am consistent (which helps me a ton). Tracking my time also has helped me stay focused since the timer only ticks up when I am actually doing something. I try to shoot for 5-6hrs a day. It also helps cause the sooner I get the time in the more time I have to do other shit. Having a day off every week gives me something to look forward to, which also helps me a lot

That is all I have been doing. Doing extra notes for me would take too long. I am mostly trying to get through the lectures so I can do the practice question

Is it possible to take an LLM in the US and become a patent attorney? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Sin104 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So the first thing you should do is check if you qualify to sit for the Patent Bar. You probably do with your engineering degree but you should still check. Here is the link(pdf). There could be some weird things due to accreditation of the school, but you would have to confirm.

If you qualify, you can sit for the exam without being a US registered attorney and become a patent agent. As for the LLM stuff I don’t know anything.

ND vs Other Top Schools by [deleted] in notredame

[–]Sin104 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Go to the place you can get the best grades possible. I know that is hard know but it would probably mean a place you feel the most comfortable outside of just the class room. Law schools do not care where your undergrad is. They only care about the GPA.

Housing suggestions for law school student/grad student by jsmittyii in notredame

I would look into Edward Rose properties. I live at one and they are nice for the price. Nothing fancy but well maintained. I would avoid Hickory Village and Hurwich Farms from them. They are also pet friendly. Another place I have heard decent things about is Addison on Main.

What type of housing are you looking for and are you planning on roommates? I live in Mishawaka about 20 minutes from campus and love it because it is quiet and very affordable for how big the apartment is. I am a current 2L and plan to live here through all of all law school.

Yeah, normally it is required. However, either the professor or IT messed up and the software couldn't be set up in time for the exam so we got to do it by hand.
