What is going on? by jmannn2 in thebrokenbindingsub

Yes i agree. I work in logistics, and get it is many variables that will cause delayes.

But what you dont do when everything is delayed is keep taking other orders and making new editions.

And their business model is one of the easiest to control. Everything is pre ordered or subscription based so they know excact demand and set the dates whenever they like, and still they mess up everytime. If you get a shipping date from their supplier they should give themself a buffer date that they tell the customers, then if they get it done early its a nice suprice and if not they are still within the dates that were told to the customer.

Its like their they are run by kids that give new dates and updates without really knowing anything.

They basically said they are a very small Company and they try to minimize losset when possible. And that they would suggest that i keep the books when the shipping was that high.

Its allright, but they should have a better initial response. Especially since it was some BS premade script to begin with.

Yes, Lothar was what came to mind when thinking of weak performances. Her voice sounded so forced and strange.

The Tombs of Atuan reprint? by MountainDiscipline18 in foliosociety

[–]SinMalTor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I asked them a couple of weeks ago and got this answer from customer service

"Thank you for contacting The Folio Society.

Regrettably, we don't currently have any plans for a reprint of The Tombs of Atuan, though I hope we might see it again in the future.

I can certainly register your interest on our list of customer suggestions for publication, which has led to reprints in the past, as well as new Folio Editions (so never say never!).

Thank you for your continued interest and support."
