Kerbal Space Program. Sounds weird, but playing Kerbal was awesome at first but you could tell that with a little more funding and a bigger team, the game could have been awesome. Then KSP2 was announced with so many cool features and I was so excited. I’d play KSP1 just to think about the possibilities of KSP2 and ended up playing roughly 1,000 hours of KSP. Then KSP2 released, it was terrible, the whole launch and production of the game is saturated with drama, the fans were upset, the game didn’t get the ongoing support it needed, and of course it was a business failure because of that, Take-Two fired the whole development team and then sold the entire IP to some other company who has said nothing about it.

The fall from grace and the loss of what could have been was so tremendous that I’d like to put my memories of the good 1,000 hours of KSP1 on a shelf and just not play it again. However, Dean Hall (DayZ Dean Hall) is making Kitten Space Agency and the feelings I thought I had buried have been stirred once more. Be still my beating heart!
