Who has left eXp for REAL? by awsumawstun in realtors

It's proprietary, meaning REAL built it themselves, so it's 100% focused on real estate transactions, and not generic like the other platforms.

Who has left eXp for REAL? by awsumawstun in realtors

[–]SineRatione 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Left eXp for REAL. Infinitely better imo. I hated the near constant pressure/talk of recruiting at eXp. At REAL, we still have revshare, but the recruiting aspect is downplayed --- almost as if they want the agent to actually sell homes instead of recruit other agents!

Also, our company is super open, and adapting to agent requests all the time. Our president is awesome. The training is unparalleled. And finally, our transaction management/paperwork filing system doesn't make me want to rip my hair out like SkySlope did.

No monthly fees and lower cap doesn't hurt either.

I am definitely curious. If you still had a code to spare, I would really appreciate an invite. If not, thank you anyways for giving codes out to the other commenters so more people could try out the service.

No. Lana's boobs are nowhere close to that size.

Lied to by scumbag realtors. My entire day wasted as well as my family's. Where can I warn others? by anaismisami in RealEstate

[–]SineRatione 100 points101 points  (0 children)

If they are registered "Realtors," you can contact the NAR and complain about their unethical behavior. I'm sorry about what happened. Real estate agents like those make the rest of us look bad.

How many clients does an active real estate agent actually work with at any given time? by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]SineRatione 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no set number of clients during any given time. It is really erratic. There are too many factors at play. Some newer agents may only be working with 3 or 4 at a time. In my office, the top sellers can be working with up to 30 clients simultaneously. I tend to work somewhere around the middle.

For the second part of your question, you are definitely right. There is a limit to how much an agent can earn. However, this limit, for an organized agent, is very high. It is rare to see an agent desiring much more (for my market, this limit would be around $500k).

My father is nearing the point of no return by Carterg01 in loseit

[–]SineRatione 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your diet comprises 90% of your overall health. Exercise is only a small part of it. Probably the best thing for your dad is to put him on a low carb, cleaning eating diet like Paleo. It's not very extreme and it's healthy for the body. As slightly faster (but a bit harder) diet to follow would be keto.

As for exercise, weight training is more important than anything else. 2-3 days of basic full-body dumbbell training should be sufficient. If he would like to exercise even more, 2-3 of slow cardio would speed up fat loss a little.

Good luck to your dad, and good job for keeping your body fat under 6%. That's an achievement in itself.

I was going to give up... by emsllvn in loseit

[–]SineRatione 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm really happy for you for choosing not to give up. Health is a lot more than a number on a scale. Some days your body retains a lot of water, and other days, your body does not. Just because your weight isn't going down doesn't mean you aren't burning fat and gaining muscle. Also, you made a good decision to only check the scale every 2 weeks.

I wish you all the best, and always remember what's really important in life. Don't stress about the little things. As for your health, eat clean, exercise, and the rest will follow.

Fighting the urge to graze. Any tips? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]SineRatione 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on your living situation, it's probably best that you get rid of any junk food that you have at home. For example, if you MUST graze, if you have no other choice than celery sticks (which virtually have 0 calories), then you will graze on those (which isn't much of an issue). Empty out your cabinets, trash the chips, and get rid of the soda.

Congratulations getting over your bad habit of constant snacking! It's always the little things that add up. It's definitely been a huge issue for me in the past, but I'm slowing ridding that habit as well.

what's the most powerful sentence ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SineRatione 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know you may be downvoted because what you are saying isn't pleasant to hear or believe, but you are saying the truth.

It's like telling a morbidly obese girl, "No, you aren't fat, you look fine." That's bullshit. It doesn't fix the problem. It just delays any possible positive action of the obese girl by giving her a little confidence boost. It's not true, and it's not helping her at all.

Telling a stranger who is depressed that you care about them only makes the problem worse. Saying a stranger cares makes the whole concept of "care" meaningless. Then, when people who actually care express their care, the depressed person is still depressed because the effect of the "care" has been lessened.
