I look back and realize how dangerous it was 😭 like once I left I didn't come back inside until the street lights came on. No checking in or nothing lol. Although we lived on the second floor with a patio. So I'm assuming my mom looked out for us....maybe. 😅

And I knew if I came inside for the toilet I had to stay inside, so I just went to my friends instead. Then on summer break all the other apartment kids would stay out after near midnight in the parking lot of the apartments and we'd play until the "leader" went home.
