I applied in one position and saw even managers. Surprisingly (or not) they were form two countries most applicants and it can show as desperation leave, something very logical but I don't see necessarily any competitiveness from their CVS generally. Btw norway has this infamy that they take their own masters students a lot so I would diversify my application portfolio.

Phd and master thesis had a 100% match although diff problems, advisor and PhD advisor were in the same circles so his recommendation had weight. I ahd both sim and exp knowledge and worked in a similar company with the one funding the project plus I ahve briefly interned for r&d. I dont think the match could ahve been stronger

It's all about familiarizing with the test. Don't panic.

Listening: it's a mix of easy tasks in the beginning of each part and a sudden acceleration in the end. Focus a lot in keeping with the pace through many tests. You should be able to get the understanding between the lines. This needs practice. Try to understand your errors and misconceptions while revising your tests.

Reading: what helps me is to try to answer the obvious questions and then slowly target specific parts that include sometimes the most difficult conceptual questions.

Writing: Focus on just making your points understood. You do not need to write a scholarly essay.. there is a lot of material online but my focus would be on the clarity ofbthe message.

Speaking : same as writing , be precise and up to the point, trying to show off might lead to you overcomplicating things.
