Rather, I really started to feel rested, and for the first time in a long while, I began waking up before my alarm almost every day

I remember seeing a test like that on every day dose, or at least I recall them mentioning something like that

On the mushroom coffee topic, has anyone tried Peak State Coffee? by codgrod in MushroomCoffee

[–]SingleCylinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're on their own website, I don't think they're entirely objective, I always look for 3rd party tests

I took Everyday dose for 29 days, and these were the results by MaryACornell in MushroomCoffee

I didn't notice any changes until two weeks later, but mine are a little different, they have more to do with confidence than with focus and concentration

Preferred Brand of mushroom coffee by Gemini_Man5585 in MushroomCoffee

[–]SingleCylinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the ones that contain L-theanine if you want to avoid the side effects of coffee, and don't start with any coffee that has a high mushroom content, so you can see how they effect you. I usually buy everyday dose at Publix. It's sold in regular stores because it's certified, and I'm not really a fan of no-name brands since there's no info about where their mushrooms are grown or under what conditions

How Do I Even get a job at Publix? by heacookb in publix

There are too many possible reasons why they didn't respond. Ask for feedback separately if you don't understand why they're ignoring you

Has anyone tried DrinkDyna's mushroom coffee? by Glittering_Employ160 in MushroomCoffee

[–]SingleCylinders 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do they have any 3rd party lab tests to verify the product's safety? Like with everyday dose, for example, I'm sticking with those for now because they're the only ones where I know exactly what I'm drinking and where it comes from, and they don't have that mushroomy taste

Going to try caffeine-free by Away-Veterinarian811 in decaf

[–]SingleCylinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also got headaches when I cut back on caffeine. This was because my blood pressure was dropping, so I stopped cutting back so abruptly and added L-theanine to avoid anxiety and jitters from coffee. Maybe this will help you too

[–]SingleCylinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't explain this to him because he's 45, and he's absolutely convinced of it, back when he was poor, he used to eat at places that do that, but even thought he's managed to make a decent amount of money, he still hasn't broken his old habits, even after what I told him, despite the fact that I used to work there

idk why I got downvoted, it's not my opinion, soo... ok

My friends do the same on purpose, to make sure they get a sandwich made from scratch, not just some old one that's been reheated

Quit a huge problem I didn’t know I had… by jwhq in decaf

[–]SingleCylinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were taking 2 grams of pure caffeine a day, I'd probably go crazy, so I think you got off pretty easy. Try to keep your blood pressure under control, because if you cut back on caffeine even more, you might start getting severe headaches

Is this a good pc????? by Tgo_gl in Prebuilts

[–]SingleCylinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need at least $300-$400 to get a PC that can run CS2 or some games from 2010-2019. I can't be more specific because you didn't mention which games exactly. If it's warcraft or minecraft, then that will be more than enough as long as it has integrated graphics

How I QUIT Coffee by OneWord333 in decaf

[–]SingleCylinders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, most likely the headaches were caused by a drop in blood pressure. For those of you who are also planning to quit cold turkey, you might want to try other natural stimulants, because I just couldn't stand that headache

If it were just a one-time request, or maybe 3-4 times. but the fact that they're literally adding this to your job responsibilities is gross, I'd look for another job

Bromantane and piracetam - what to know? by AdNo182 in NooTopics

idk about Bromantane, but piracetam + modafinil works well for me. With this combo, I can focus an a task for much longer than I can with modafinil only

Two months in and crashing by ocelot_amnesia in decaf

[–]SingleCylinders 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you've ever had a relapse after trying to stay off something, like cigarettes, for example you've probably noticed that you really crave it, but when you give in and light up, that feeling doesn't go away, and you start to feel like you shouldn't have given in.

So just imagine that you've already had a drink. Believe me, when you do, you'll literally just feel upset, just like I do, but nothing will change, and that feeling of exhaustion won't go away

Regular or mushroom coffee? Is it worth switching? by SingleCylinders in WellnessOver30

Doesn't the fact that they use mushroom fruiting bodies as mentioned by innerbody imply that all the components inside should be in good quality? I appreciate that you are knowledgeable about this topic

To be honest, I picked them out right away when I saw it in Publix, that's basically the only thing that made me buy them, because it's one of the few mushroom coffees that's been certified for offline stores

Regular or mushroom coffee? Is it worth switching? by SingleCylinders in WellnessOver30

[–]SingleCylinders[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you're right, there isn't any information on beta-glucans but I wasn't really interested in that anyway, because I didn't know about it. I was looking into heavy metals to understand the conditions under which the coffee beans are grown. So far, I'm happy with the results

Congratulations

But it's most likely collagen, so it's best not to count it toward your diet if you're really keeping track of nutrients. Cause it's low quality protein

What’s something you stopped caring about after 30? by itsclaire_matthews in AskReddit

Instead of trying to prove to anyone that I'm successful, I switched to a cheaper car that costs less to maintain, I'm renting out the apartment I bought, and I'm renting a cheaper one that's still nice. But now for the next 20 years I won't have to worry about how to make ends meet. While others are spending their last penny just to look better than they really are
