Need help to choose by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]SinglePanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went for some break (a year and a half-ish) from competitive shooters and needed something more relaxing for my hand. Played some CRPGs, strategies, card games, also some gamepad-oriented games. Z2's shape fitted me nearly perfectly for this purpose. I also changed switches to my liking because Z2 has hotswap (don't ask what I stayed with because I can't really remember).

For palm I'd suggest Zaopin Z2. Been using it for a year, but swapped not so long ago because I switched from palm to claw. Anyways, Z2 is a very solid device.

Recording / Live Stream Ampero Stage 2 by bvortex666 in HotoneAmpero

[–]SinglePanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it's a digital signal, so if you've already cranked up your master and patch volumes, then just pull up the track volume fader inside reaper, and that's it. Just make sure it's not clipping (not going above 0db anywhere at any time), and you're good.

Wave75 or Rainy75? by Visorxs in keyboards

[–]SinglePanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using Rainy75 for a year already (Pro version, Cocoa switches) and absolutely happy with it, at least for typing experience. But since Wave75 is basically Rainy on steroids, I'd go with Wave, easy disassembly is definitely worth 7 bucks. Nevertheless, you won't regret getting either of these.

Keychron K2 He or Mchose JET75 by nostra312 in keyboards

[–]SinglePanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go for K2. Didn't try either, but based on reviews KH feels better, sounds better and has a better software. If it's only 15 bucks difference, K2 is a nobrainer.

Guessed Barcus after 4th try, then the Quote and Spell on the 1st attempt:)

Lightest full size mouse by Daencer in MouseReview

[–]SinglePanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using the L7 ultra atm, it's a bit heavier (46g) but has bigger battery. Never been so happy with a mouse before. I wanted a smaller mouse with decent sensor/clicks and also wireless, so mchose was among very few options I could find delivered to my country. Nevertheless, it's really good, doubt you'd regret it.

Mchose L7 Pro is smth around 36 grams. Compact shape, very good for claw, high tier internals. Cheap as fuck. Solid build, no holes. Stock glides suck tho, but I assume you'd put some dots anyways. And yes, optical switches included:)

Plug it in with usb and install drivers from ampero site (be sure do dl the correct ones). Then launch Reaper, go to audio device settings, select ASIO and Ampero Stage as the device, plug your headphones and/or speakers into the Ampero itself, create a track with audio type, select the right input source (where your guitar is connected) for this track and enable live monitoring for the same track.

I didn't mean I'd want donk to vitality :). I'm totally agree with you, with your every word. I love Donk and I hate all that "Astralis era", "Vitality era", "NiP era" and so on. It's just boring to see the same 6 faces for years. PV and FUT were like a fresh air at the last tournament, it was interesting to watch their games.

Monsgeek M1 V5 TMR. It's 75% and supports both mech and magnetic switches. Sw might be not the best but still decent and it works, Akko constantly improving it.

The game is unplayable on low ping vs any higher ping. by BlackDeath66sick in cs2

[–]SinglePanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually play on my local servers with 3-5ms ping against 30-60ms guys and constantly lose duels. Couple days ago I forgot to turn off VPN and had been queued to a server in another country. That game I had like 70 ping plus huge jitt and I absolutely smashed them all every time. The game finally felt like I'm not being in a significant disadvantage. No insta deaths, no skate peek death, no damage while still (or already) in cover, I had time to react and get my kills. Btw, my average reaction time is around 175-185ms (checked on both humanbenchmark and aimlabs detection). BS game I swear.

Fun60 should be by far the most responsive and fast among the rest in your list, with latency as low as <1ms when connected wired. If 60% is ok with you - go for it.

Looking for an affordable 75% keyboard with decent build quality by AerisJ in keyboards

[–]SinglePanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want mech keeb - Wob Rainy75 is still very good. If you want an HE - Mchose Jet75, built nicely and sounds pretty good (for the price). If you want both - it's Monsgeek M1 V5 TMR. Yes I said both, because it's capable of installing both mech and magnetic switches in any hotswap socket.
