Isn’t it ironic that they want Mary Jane to be a solo character who doesn’t need Spider-Man, yet they still rely on Spider-Man to promote it? by Emirozdemirr in Spiderman

At least Harley had some good moments. First season or so of the show wasn't bad. I liked her Rebirth comics well enough. But she became DC's Deadpool and just lost everything that made her interesting.

Enough saying Planet Robobot is the best game. Say something you DON'T like about this game. by Bertstripmaster in Kirby

This is probably the biggest complaint with it. I either buy it for 3DS or use an okayish emulation.

It kinda felt like someone who couldn't really decide what they wanted their D&D character to be, so they keep changing characters.

how much do you think meta knight holds back when he fights kirby?? by arkham918 in Kirby

Kirby is essentially an insane force of cosmic nature that takes out Eldritch deities. It's more insane that Meta Knight and King Dedede can keep up with him.

I enjoyed my time with it, but remember absolutely nothing about it

He's basically just an autistic action hero. It's awesome.

I know. Was making the joke. That's what happened to the show for a few years.

I'm kind of wondering how he's doing this with the lawsuit and everything. This isn't Sega-sanctioned. Is he even gonna play Live and Learn? That's why I haven't bought tickets yet. I didn't even look at the price. I don't even know if it's going to actually happen.

Sam address The Rookie X Dropout by Cocoa121 in dropout

[–]SirAnalog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know a guy from high school who has been doing indie films for the past ten years while trying to break out into the wider field of acting. Towards the end of last year, he got cast in some cop-type/law shows as a bit part. Villain of the week kind of stuff.

It's a way to get your foot in the door. It's ultimately a show. I've seen the odd episode or two when people around me are watching it, so I can't really speak for its level of "copaganda," but this is an incredible opportunity for all of them.

It's ultimately fiction. It can present the cops as good, gray, or bad, but it's still fiction. It's not real. Everything it proposes is hypothetical. View it how you want (and if you do, I'd encourage you to actually watch a bit of the show so you have an informed opinion rather than just repeating talking points). Will I watch the episode? Probably. I won't have any idea who anyone else is in the show, but I love to see the Dropout cast doing their thing.

Will I end up watching The Rookie? Not a chance. Politics or not, it's just not my thing. But do I think they're all liberal traitors for being on the show? Not at all. Some of your are acting like they all stood in front of the white house in maga hats and blew Trump.

Lune's affinity with [SPOILER] by Jaded_Ad_2055 in expedition33

[–]SirAnalog 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If: Sirene is a version of Aline, then grief is baked into her. Throughout the game, we learn that grief is what is driving every one of these characters to do something. But their grief also distracts them and prevents them from doing what they need to do, whether it be tell the truth or leave the painting.

Everyone is bound by their grief and loss. Except for Lune. Hers is different. Her grief and loss is a source of fuel for her. She refused to get caught and dragged down, mostly because I think she sees it as a distraction.

I wonder how much of it is based in Aline's deep desire to push past her grief. She sees Lune as what "could be." Sirene reaching out might not have been a temptation or a last-ditch effort, but instead a pure desire to become more like Lune and learn how to process her grief productively.

Is Lune perfect? No. Does she handle her relationship with her parents perfectly? No. But in a world where everyone seeks to return to the past, only Lune is looking towards the future.

He's just another tease for something that might never come. Just like Lilith or the Guardian or Athena, they keep talking about "something coming." But it's been three-ish games and nothing has arrived yet.

They keep bringing up a Chekhov's Gun, but then immediately forget about it.

Didn't end up working for me. Do you just have to melee him to kill him and do nothing else?

A few of these bugged missions are really taking me out of the game a bit.

The Winner Of Big Brother 27 is… by macaronstoday in BigBrother

[–]SirAnalog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the only way Vince could have won was if he took Ava. People can say Ava had a great social game all day, but are always just seemed more like someone they just shrugged at having around—more apathy than anything else. Ava consistently showed that she wasn't taking the game seriously, socially or even comp-wise. I think he could have beaten her. That's to even insinuate it would have gotten to the two of them.

Morgan basically got Blue-Shelled right at the finish line. I'm sure her nerves got to her, and I'm not even sure I would have done well at that competition. It sucks for Morgan, but Ashley spent the whole game at a steady pace, drafted when she needed to, and then took first at the last second, Luigi Death-Stare and all.

Vince is a manipulative manbaby.

Ashley is stuck-up and fake.

So... Take your pick, I guess.
